Overrated - Edit
This is a favorite restaurant for lovers of Indian food in Valencia, but I was unimpressed. My food was served lukewarm, and although I ordered it 'medium' spicy, it was maybe a 0.5/10 on the spice scale. I'd recommend the nearby Royal Buddha Nepali & Indian restaurant instead for more flavorful options.

Not a good option for vegans - Edit
I have no doubt this is a good restaurant for vegetarians, the menu has a dedicated section for vegetarian dishes. But I don't think they know the difference between vegetarian and vegan... So I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to vegans or anyone with a lactose intolerance.
Read moreFirst of all, we asked what was vegan on the menu and the waiter pointed us the vegetarian section. We could see it ourselves, but we wanted to know what was also vegan. We ordered a papadam as a starter which comes with 3 sauces. The waiter brought us the dish pointing his finger at the minty sauce and said "yoghurt". I took it meant it was not vegan... So why not remove it from the plate? Or offer a replacement to make it vegan?
Then, we had a lentil daal and a mushroom bhaji with rice. I liked the fact that they put a metal platter to keep our dishes warm (it can only hold up to 3 plates though). The mushroom bhaji was nice, but the lentil daal was very bland... And most importantly I'm not convinced it was vegan. I had a look at recipes online afterwards and most of them suggest using ghee (which is not vegan). It would explain why my husband (lactose intolerant) didn't feel well afterwards.
The restaurant seems popular as it was filling up quickly (mostly meat eaters). But for us there won't be a second visit.
Pros: Not expensive, Lots of space inside with many tables, Popular vegetarian dishes
Cons: Not good for vegans, Poor service

Delicious Indian food!!! - Edit
They have a great selection of vegan options. Best pakoras! The chef made my eggplant to my exact level of spicy. I can’t wait to go back.
Read moreBe careful when you come here. My seventh visit and the waiter offered me meat samosas when I said I was vegan. Just a heads up.
