Serves meat, vegan options available. Beach shack cafe on the promenade beneath the Lord Nelson pub, directly on the beach with a view out to sea. Offers avocado on sourdough and a pesto ciabatta. Might be possible to veganize other items. Open Mon-Fri 09:00-16:30, Sat-Sun 08:30-16:30.

Quality food on the seafront 🌱 - Edit
Few good options to choose from, a nice surprise being on the seafront with most options being chips and salads. The pesto panini was so tasty! 😍 🌱
Read morePros: Delicious food, Not overly expensive , Cafe right on the beach!
Cons: Could always have more options, Limited seating (due to space)

Good stop - Edit
There are a couple of vegan options. I had a really nice pesto and mozzarella toastie along with the trusty vegan magnum classic. Right on beach front so great location although the seating area is a bit shabby. Most people use it as a takeaway. Also it's a shame they charge extra for milk alternatives.

Great avocado sourdough - Edit
Stopped on a cold, breezy and bright day and received a warm welcome. I had the avocado sourdough toast to go and it was presented in a cardboard tray with a lovely dressed side salad and wooden cutlery. It’s was absolutely delicious. There were two other vegan items clearly marked on a blackboard. They also have soy, almond and oat milk for hot drinks. Staff were wonderful and chatted about where they source their ingredients and pointed us in the direction of the local (and very cool) shop their bread comes from (“Box” in Southwold). Cannot recommend Suzy’s enough

Gorgeous beach shack with vegan options! - Edit
Enjoyed the most delicious vegan panini at Suzie’s whilst looking out across the beach to the sea. Although an omni business, the owner and staff really understand vegan and are very keen to accommodate requests. They were offering several savoury vegan options when we visited (a grilled panini with vegan pesto, vegan cheese + tomato, a vegan cheese and tomato toastie and avocado on sourdough). They also stock vegan butter, have Booja Booja vegan ice cream tubs in their freezer and proudly said they always have oat, almond and soya milk as standard. Lots of coffee and cold drink options + many items gluten free too. Definitely worth a visit come rain or shine!
