Pay-by-weight vegetarian buffet restaurant. Offers complimentary grass jelly tea and vegan soup with your meal. Ask the staff which dishes are ovo-lacto-vegetarian. If bringing your own plate or bowl, have the staff weigh it beforehand. After 7pm the remaining buffet items are discounted 20% off. There is also an a la carte noodles menu, and in winter, a hotpot option. Open Mon-Sun 10:30am-3:30pm, 5:00pm-7:30pm.

Good veggie cafeteria in the neighborhood

This spot is pretty good as veggie cafeterias go in Taiwan. It's not greasy, it's well-lit, it has plenty of seating, and it offers a great variety of dishes. I asked the staff which dishes contained eggs or dairy, and only one came with eggs that evening. Hallelujah! Their complimentary grass jelly tea isn't overly sweet, and the soup contained many different kinds of veggies. BYO container and have it pre-weighed before you start loading it up to avoid using disposables. Reuse it later for the soup.

Pros: wide variety of vegan dishes, free tea and soup, lots of seating

Cons: confirm which dishes aren't vegan each visit, disposable dishware
