Attention délicieux ! - Edit
Un réel régal des papilles et des yeux ! Délicieux et magnifique ! Le prix est assez élevé mais compensé par la gentillesse et l'attention du personnel.

Sushi Momo no longer does take out, Dine in Only - Edit
We are visiting Montreal with our dogs, and simply amazed by the large variety of Vegan (Végétalien) establishments in the city.
Read moreBeing sushi lovers, a vegan sushi restaurant near Herbivores Marché Végétalien AND Sophie Sucrée? Fabulous!
Unfortunately, the waitress informed me they no longer do take-out. Bummer.
With no other viable option, I left the restaurant, grabbed a leash, and found another sushi shop.
Pros: Looked Clean
Cons: No take out, No exterior seating

Phenomenal Sushi! - Edit
A whole new level of sushi experience. Every piece is created carefully with the most amazing flavors. Is a small portion but excepcional quality. Anything in the menu is excellent, I loved Surf and Turf because taste just like bacon and Kobe Roll because of the Thai sauce. My girlfriend loved Dino Dino and Patate Jalapeño. I was not even surprised that the chef is Mexican since the best vegan food I have ever tried was in Mexico. Highly recommend this place. Yes is expensive but totally worth it.

Amazing and original rolls! - Edit
This place is amazing! The originality and flavour of the rolls is spectacular, one of the best vegan restaurants I’ve tried! I do great with plain avocado rolls but it is so nice to see a place creating a unique Vegan Japanese experience.

Love this place - Edit
This is a very cozy restaurant. Among vegan restaurants, every aspect of the experience is enjoyable. Even among seasoned vegan gourmands, I guarantee you will find novelty among their rolls, especially when encountering fruit in your dinner. We got a massive plate for two and tried everything. I can't wait to return!

The Best!! - Edit
This was probably my favourite vegan restaurant I have been to EVER!! It was absolutely amazing. We shared the 2 person special and it was all incredible. From the miso to the lemon tart dessert and everything in between. I wish I lived here because I would eat there every day if I could. Service and atmosphere were great too.

Unbelievably good - Edit
Definitely the best vegan sushi ever tried so long. All the food is amazing, but the sushi rolls are to die for. They offer an inventive menu, with many options to choose from. We had agedashi tofu and braised gyoza, which were perfect, not oily at all. Then we had a selection of rolls, including their Kobe rolls with vegan beef, lemongrass, mango and baby spinach, followed by sweet potato and jalapeño peppers rolls, and jackfruit rolls. The desserts are small sized, which are perfect to me after such a treat, so they don’t fill you up too much. Their chai crème caramel was absolutely perfect.

Unbelievable - Edit
When I found out there’s a vegan sushi restaurant, I nearly died.
Read moreDeath from happiness actually came when they brought the menus to the table. The freedom to choose anything on the menu was overwhelming. The mushroom tartare was insane and the pizza was mouth watering. We ordered at least 10 different rolls and everyone at the table had their own favorites. Without hesitation I would go back again and again.

Unbeatable flavours - Edit
You’re guaranteed to experience something new. Tried the variety plate as a first time diner, enjoyed all flavours. I had my favorites, and my wife had her own favorites. The service was very friendly and they describe each sushi we ordered. Seating was very comfortable however we were in a narrow walkway which force you to keep your elbows in one sitting and eating. Atmosphere was nice with soft music playing. Price was more fair than other places with comparable fine dining.

Reservations highly recommended - Edit
Everything is good. Everything. They used flavor combinations that I never would've thought of and blew away all recollections of other vegan sushi I'd had up till that point. It's a must eat place if you are in Montreal. With that being said, don't attempt to go here without reservations you will most likely be turned away. It is a popular eatery and chances are those empty tables you see are already reserved. We had reservations for a later time and we just happened to be in the neighborhood and figured we could just finish up with dinner early. It was early evening, usually not a busy time for restaurants starting their dinner service, but we were turned away and had to come back for our reserved time. It's worth it to make reservations to avoid disappointment.

Amazing sushi - Edit
The best sushi I have ever had, anywhere. One thing to keep in mind: This is NOT a 100% vegan restaurant. They use sake in some of their dishes, such as the dumplings :(. I used barnivore to look up the sakes they have and they were not vegan.

My fave place in Montreal! - Edit
My husband and I are visiting Montreal for 4 days and hitting up as many vegan restaurants as we can. This was at the top of our list and it did not disappoint! Be sure to make reservations in advance on their website because this place is popular. We got the two person sampler, which included seasoned edamame, miso soup, a delicious papaya salad, and 25 pieces of the most amazing sushi ever! Oh and two delectable desserts- a chocolate raspberry cheesecake and a matcha cheesecake. We both loved everything we had! Highly recommend!!!

Amazing flavours - Edit
What a great little restaurant with amazing sushi. Even my non vegetarian boyfriend loved it :-) great portion sizes and a lot of varieties available. This is far from the average avocado/cucumber sushi and shows how much you can create amazing flavours with veggies. If i lived in Montréal i would be a regular :-)

Fabulous vegan sushi - Edit
Sushi is one of those things that’s pretty unique food wise and not something I thought I’d truly get to enjoy again after becoming vegan. I was wrong. This was special. I’ve had really good sushi in all sorts of places and this was up with all of them and cruelty free. Make sure you book well ahead though.

Montreal is so lucky to have sushi momo. We’ve been there so many times and always leave extremely happy and satisfied. One of the best things about this place is how many non-vegans we’ve brought there who love it as much as we do. A million thumbs up! This is the future of vegan food.
