Superiority Burger: yes

I recommend to get the superiority burger, the other one they have on their menu is also nice, but that one is way better. The set is a bit expensive round 1200円 with salad and a drink. Usually wouldn’t buy it, but that broccoli salad so great! Burger solo is 800円

Delicious burger!

You need to go down the stairs to find the entrance! 🍔 The burger was really really good, but I personally didn‘t enjoy the sides so much, but I guess that‘s just me! ✨

Delicious food and great staff

Walk down the stairs to find them under the jewelry shop.
When I went I just couldn't believe how nice to staff were. The food was delicious and the free water three was the best I've ever had.

Disappointing

This place (the Harajuku branch of an NYC restaurant) apparently has a great reputation, but our visit got off to a very bad start. When we walked in, there was a man who I thought was standing around waiting for his order, wearing a Canada Goose jacket.

I know I’m not the only one who gets really bummed out when I see that logo. I guess most people see it as a symbol of status and luxury, but all it brings to me is images of coyotes caught in traps and geese screaming as their feathers are being torn out.

It’s too bad that even in all-vegan spaces we can’t escape animal cruelty, I thought. But hey, maybe this person will realize the unnecessary cruelty of his fashion choices after tasting some yummy vegan food?

At that point, the Canada Goose man greeted us. Not only did he work there, but he appeared to be a manager of some sort. Wow. How disappointing that someone who makes their living at a vegan restaurant would have so little understanding of what “vegan” means.

Seeing that kind of tainted my whole experience. The food was good, albeit small. The burger was nice— I wasn’t a huge fan of the patty, which was mealy and surprisingly spicy, but the bun and sauce were good. The burger claimed to have cheese on it, but I didn’t taste any.

The sweet potato dish was really yummy, with an interesting combination of flavors and textures. But it was 700 yen for a small portion.

As for the ambience— the seating consists mostly of those awkward communal tables, which I’m not a fan of. The restroom didn’t have much privacy, and smelled bad. (To be fair, this is isn’t entirely their fault, as the building is old and the restroom is shared with other businesses.)

All in all, despite the fact that the food was pretty good, I’m afraid we didn’t have a great experience here.

Pros: Food is creative and good

Cons: Uncomfortable seating , Not sure if the staff understands veganism

AMAZING!!!!!

Best Vegan Burgers I’ve had in Japan! Nothing processed, and the owner gave us some free pieces of a vegan pizza that they’re working on! This was the best vegan pizza I’ve ever Had! Plus for any Rock Climbing friends out there, you might catch a glimpse of Ashima there if you’re lucky.

Pros: Completely vegan menu. , Very cheap, considering.

Probably the best place in Tokyo now

Absolutely love the creativity and unique dishes created here! I can’t wait to go back again and again and try the new items! Get the yuba sandwich if it’s still available ❤️

An absolute must for a vegan!!

After seeing posts about this place on social media, I was dying to come here. The burger and coconut potato soup I got did not disappoint. If I lived in Tokyo, I would be a regular here. I love the chill vibe of the place too.

Pros: Delicious food

Cons: Closes at 4pm

Hip burger place with modern style

Nice burgers if you like soft patties. Chef came around and gave us some free cauliflower focaccia (not on the menu) which was nice. Portions a little small, but expected since it’s harajuku.

Pros: English speaking staff

Cons: Closes at 4pm

NYC brings vegan to Tokyo

Superiority Burger NYC have brought a whole new meaning to vegan burgers and salads in Japan. If you are feeling like a burger to warm you up this winter, make your way down to this cozy restaurant in a basement not too far from the busy Harajuku streets.

The buns are soft and squishy and the burger melts on your tongue exploding with flavour. The lettuce, sauce and cheese all meld together an extremely solid burger, and there’s not something like it in Japan right now.
The sweet and sour beetroot that is served here are paired with a jalapeño cream that will make you want to get seconds.

I’ll be coming back to this restaurant for a long time.
