Vegetarian buffet offering different regional selections each day. Uses some dairy, but staff is knowledgeable about the ingredients. Fruit, water, and dessert are included in the $75 pesos all-you-can-eat buffet. Gets crowded after 2pm. Serves pizza on Sundays. Located three blocks from Bosque Cuauhtemoc. Open Mon-Fri 12:30pm-6:00pm, Sun 12:30pm-6:00pm.

Super price:) - Edit
First city I've been to in México that had two vegetarian buffets. Your own personal pitcher of juice. I went to both of them and the juice was different both times. Best priced buffet keeps me coming back. Great selection of fruit and salad and vegan meat.

Opciones veggies aburridas - Edit
Las misma comida veggie de hace 15 años, creo que podrían mejorar menu, las calabacitas con crema ya están obsoletas en una época en la que se pueden hacer muchas opciones vegetarianas

Great variety of vegan option in vegetarian/vegan buffet - Edit
I walked in and asked the workers there which options in the vegetarian buffet were vegan. They walked over to the buffet line with and pointed to each, showing that most of them were. For the enchiladas that had dairy cheese, they will make them w/o dairy cheese for you on the spot. And they were sooooo good.
Read moreThey have a daily agua that was really great, all you want to drink. There are also buffet options of good quality fresh papaya, watermelon and one other fruit, so if you want to start with fruit - which you may want to do because Morelia can be hot and dry - you can do so here. Since one of their two locations is next to a public park (the one I went to), you may also have gotten dehydrated spending time in the park first.
As for the main meals, I had one plate with the vegan enchilada and several other sides, including one that had some vegan burger cumbles; and also a bowl of pozole with a vegan meat and over rice. Super nutritious and tasty.
The price is now 75 pesos (someone else had written 50 pesos here), but that is super inexpensive at 18.5 pesos to the dollar, for an all-you-can eat place. Think about giving the very helpful employees a tip and just leave 100 pesos. You'll be doing the right thing.

Un restaurante sencillo con una pequeña pero muy sabrosa selección de platillos típicos veganos y vegetarianos, incluida una barra de ensaladas y bebidas.

Worth the Visit - Edit
This little place has a great atmosphere (although it can get really crowded) and the food really surprised me. It was tasty, there was a good variety and almost all of the dishes were vegan the day we went.

Cheap vegetarian buffet with vegan options - Edit
Oh my God this place is so cheap! For 65 pesos you get a great all-you-can-eat vegetarian buffet (vegan options available), a delicious juice and a dessert. We heard it gets pretty crowded so we went there at the opening (12h30) and it was ok.

ridiculously good and cheap - Edit
I recently went with a group of 9 people to the buffet. It was so good! I was surprised at how cheap it was. You eat all you want for $50 and it includes agua fresca and dessert. Caveat : they use dairy, but there are many vegan options. The same options are available upstairs and downstairs. If available, try the pozole. It is the best I have tried ever!

Can't miss mega-buffet - Edit
Wow... this place was amazing! Plus utterly, completely packed most times I went. The key is to arrive right before the rush when the entire buffet is yours for the plundering. Wonderful selection of unique and varied local specialities, made with serious vegetarian zest. Very neat to see what a bustling, high-energy community affair it is.
Read moreIt would be a shame for a culinarily curious vegetarian to miss this spot on a stay in the city! Note that it's just a short walk from Cuauhtemoc park.
Pros: Beyond delicious, Popular with locals, Convenient location
Cons: Gets too crowded, Need to go at the right time, Only one location!
