Supa Star 2 now in different location? - Edit
Went to this on holiday in Sofia and had lovely soups and sandwiches. Good choice of veggie and vegan when we went. Lovely relaxing atmosphere.

Great soup - Not very relaxing! - Edit
Half of the soups on offer were veggie friendly when we went in, which was great! Not overly expensive, flavoursome and portion sizes are good. Some English speaking staff, which is always handy.
Read moreDownside is the space itself, which is too small for the turnaround really.. If you're here for lunch, you get the feeling that you have to eat and get out asap. We were in and out in under 10 mins... Not very relaxing.
Pros: Plenty of choice, Cheap, Free croutons and lemon slices!
Cons: Not enough seating

Not my favourite - Edit
I love hot soup, so I decided to give Supa Star a try, but I was quite disappointed.
Read moreThere was only one vegan soup, but maybe that was because I visited quite late in the day. It was a broccoli soup which I usually like, however, it was nearly cold. I really hate cold soup, so I was barely able to eat it. Moreover, the restaurant was not very cozy and I was happy when I left.
Pros: Good location
Cons: Soup had gone cold, Not so cosy, atmosphere could be more welcoming

Interesting soups - Edit
First off: I am not a soup guy, but I thought I'd have to give them a try, since they have vegan options.
Read moreI liked seeing that they had a nice selection of vegan soups available, that were also clearly labeled as such.
We got a spicy cauliflower and potato soup and "bob chorba" which is essentially a traditional Bulgarian bean stew. Both were flavourful and with some fresh bread actually quite filling. I especially enjoyed the latter as it tasted quite authentic and is an easy and quick way to get a taste of Bulgaria.
Staff were friendly and the ambiance, albeit a little crowded, was quite pleasant.
Not a bad choice if you need a quick and cheap meal that's not too heavy on your stomach.

Amazing soups - Edit
The atmosphere was nice and the staff was friendly. You can get bread with your soup. I had the okra soup which was so good that after leaving the restaurant I went back and bought it again lol

Good options - Edit
Three of six soups were vegan when we arrived. Good if you like soup, maybe not the most interesting taste as a bit bland. Bread is good.

Good for a quick pick me up - Edit
Of 6 soups, 1 was vegan and 3 were vegetarian (had cheese or cream). Vegan soup was tomato with green peas. It was not earth shattering but was a good pick me up. Also had the carrot cake (cream cheese icing) with similar feedback.

Cons: OK taste, but not exceptional, Soup served warm — not hot

Cool, but non-vegan - Edit
We just came for a light meal and were pretty excited for the delicious looking soups, but when asking for which is vegan we’ve got the info that non of them. At least there was a vegan sandwich to keep us till we find a better place.

Cozy space, delicious food - Edit
I've always loved this place, ever since its opening. The space is cozy and welcoming, the staff is friendly and the food is delicious. The people who work there are competent when it comes to their food, so you can ask away without being worried that they won't know what they're doing.

Delicious soups - Edit
Very delicious soups. The place was quite busy, that's a good sign. Cheap food with great taste is all I can say. A little more vegan options would make it even better :)

Lovely! - Edit
They had 6 soup options, 2 containing meat, 2 more creamy vegetarian options and 2 vegan soups. There was a chickpea and the winter vegetable soup that I had. Very enjoyable! Nice way to warm up on a cold Bulgarian day!

Quick lunch spot, ran out of soups around dinner - Edit
Perfect spot for lunch, not so much for dinner as when they are finished wth the soups they are done for the day. They always have a vegan option though.

perfect place for a quick & healthy meal - Edit
I was short on time to get a quick lunch in between meetings for work and this place was perfect. Despite the long line, it goes quick with the efficiency of the staff to keep things moving. There are 6-8 different types of hearty soups (just ask the staff which ones are vegan or vegetarian if needed) as well as premade fresh sandwiches, salads and pasta salads. There are some tables available upstairs or seats near the entrance, but also suitable for takeout. Staff are friendly and speak English. I would highly recommend this place if you need something quick and don't want typical fast-food. I had the vegan soup of the day as well as the one vegan sandwich and it was delicious, healthy and filling. Value for money is excellent.

Awesome veg soups - Edit
You can find this cute small restaurant in the heart of Sofia, just few steps away from the Parliament, just next to the Radisson hotel.
Read moreYou can seat there, next to the window watching life goes by, having one of the best veg soups you ever had, or go to the second floor and chat with friends for hours.
The menu is small - soups, sandwiches and salads, but always fresh. It serves at least one vegan and one vegetarian soup all day long. Salads and sandwiches can be vegan too, just ask for that option.
Make sure, you leave your thoughts for life on a napkin as it is shown on one of the pictures:)
Enjoy the soup.
Pros: Veg affordable food, Nice staff, City centre
Cons: Small choice of veg food
