This place was a bit confusing as they both have the buffet but also a menu with regular food including meat, fish etc. The staff didn’t really seem to understand me when I asked what was vegan. For the smoothie I had to be very clear that I didn’t want any milk. The food itself was good for the price, 20’ for one plate which was really cheap! It is cold though

Mock meat and other vegan food can be very similar amongst the buffet choices. I found Suong Mai tasty with a few small variations on the dishes. I liked the spring rolls (3k ea) with lot of filling, yet a bit oily and the crunchy pumpkin fried croquettes.
Read moreWhat definitely outstands this choice is the combination of cleanness, low prices and the best view of its class. It's very relaxing and you can get a small sofa for 2 overlooking the valley.
Just make sure to come early. First time I came at 1.20pm and there was almost nothing left.

Great place. The food was amazing qnd so cheep. It costs 15.000VD for a huge plate of delicious veggies and Tofu anf meat substitutes. I've read that they have a buffet but I guess they don't have that anymore cause as I said you get a fulk plate but you can get even two or three an it's still so cheep. Stuff is also very nice and the vew is amazing!

Read moreone of the best I’ve been to so far in Vietnam. Everything tasted good and was not too oily. The buffet all appeared to be vegan except a creamy mayonnaise-like condiment, and I gave the curry soup a miss just in case as they often seem to put dairy in it.
You pay 25k per person at the front counter and they give you a ticket, then you head down the stairs to the large dining area at the back where you hand over your ticket, grab a plate and cutlery and serve up your food.
Really enjoyed our meals here and there was so much to choose from! It did get pretty manic, especially on the weekend so try to go early if possible. On Saturday the place was absolutely packed by 11.30am, and someone stole our neighbour’s chair to add to their own table which was a bit awkward when the poor guy returned from the buffet haha.
Pros: incredible value for 25k, loads of variety, decent view
Cons: go early or on weekdays for less crowds, only open lunch

I was nervous after reading other reviews saying go early or not at all, but my husband and I went around 12:20 (they close at 1) and were pleasantly surprised. The place wasn’t very crowded at all and has a nice open air feel and a lovely view. It did seem like maybe some of the food options had run out by the time we arrived, but what was left was delicious and there was plenty to make a meal out of and still feel like we got more than our money’s worth. My husband is not veg and even he was impressed. There was rice, soup w/ toppings, various veggie stir fry dishes (some w mock meats, some without), fried tofu, salad, tea... Seriously, 25K Dong is an insanely good value for the quality and taste of the food, even if we missed out on some of it. I am hoping to be able to go again while we are here and brave the hungry crowds so I can try the full spread!

One of the best values for money I have come across anywhere in the world. The food is a good selection of vegetarian/vegan Vietnamese dishes. Basic, but fresh. The dishes are thankfully not too heavy with oil, and there are quite a few choices which are not all fake meats. Some salad selections as well.
Read moreThe biggest drawback of this place though is the customers. If you get there right when they are opening, it is not too bad. However, by noon it's full of some of the rudest people I have ever encountered. Pushing, shoving, taking as much food as they can carry. It's unfortunate, because the unpleasant experience greatly detracts from the food. The restaurant has a great view as well, but again, the crowd really spoils it.
