Not vegan

We believed the multiple places they said "Vegan". Turns out the gluten free bagel was made with egg. There was no notice

Pros: Food tasted good

Cons: Not vegan despite lots of marketing claiming so.

Lots of options!

Love the variety of options at Sunset Moon Superfoods Cafe and was intrigued by the variety of services in addition to foods and drinks that they offer. We stopped in for two drinks, the Mocha Latte with Pecan Milk and the Cacao mocha maca latte. The service was excellent and the people behind the counter were very kind!
My drink was warm and delicious. The pecan’s presence was definitely there. Next time I’ll probably choose a different milk. I look forward to trying other foods as well. I like the unique options on their menu!

Great vibes and friendly people

I had the Cacao Matcha Maca Latte and it was great. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their Specialty Drinks.

Delicious and fresh

The food was delicious; I had the miso soup and the capellini. Portions are made for 1 so unless you plan on ordering a variety of items, they are not meant to share.

Pros: Lots of options , Friendly service , Delicious food

Not All Vegan

Not all vegan, they have egg on location. They claim to be a 100% vegan restaurant but they are not. They also claim to be 100% cane sugar free but they gave my allergic friend cane sugar.

Pros: Food looks good but did not try

Cons: Not all vegan, claim to be 100% cane sugar free but thats a lie, they say 100%Vegan but they have eggs on location

Delicious, Organic, and Gluten-free

Wow! I'm envious of the locals, because if I lived here, I would eat at Sunset Moon quite a bit!

My order of Moon Scramble, a tofu scramble with pesto and veggies was delicious! So was my "Cherry Garcia" smoothie, which was an almond milk base with banana, cherries, cacao nibs, and vanilla maple. (I think on other days, the same smoothies have different milk bases, depending on the milk they made.) Would have liked a little more cacao in there, but I'm not complaining!

For snacks for the 100+ mile drive home, I purchased gluten-free chocolate chip cookies and a carrot-cake muffin top to go. Both were delicious, not too sweet, and not too crumbly. They were sweetened with a little coconut sugar, which contains small amounts of minerals, antioxidants and fiber. It's still sugar, but not quite as bad as most sugars. They also have an extensive tea menu, but I didn't have a chance to try it.

I asked a lot of questions about the food and the restaurant, and the staff was very helpful and patient in answering them.

Note - some reviews complain about the prices, but one needs to factor in that the food is organic, and recipes are made from scratch which is quite labor intensive. For example, they make all their nut milks from scratch, unlike some places which pour commercially produced nut milks out of an aseptic box. That makes a huge difference in quality and taste.

I also like the fact that Sunset Moon is as waste-free as possible, as explained on their menu. Highly Recommended!

Pros: Vegan, Organic, Gluten-free, Delicious Food, Very helpful friendly staff

Cons: Street parking with parking meters

Nourishment for body and soul

Exceptional, warm & caring service and excellent food. This space offers everything needed to nourish body and soul. Dinner was a little on the pricey side, but well worth it. Indulged in the portabella carpaccio, pea & pesto quinoa risotto, lavender acai "cheese"cake and chaga chai.
