Had this delivered so I didn’t get a chance to see their space. Ordered orange cauliflower, orange chik’n, and vegan fried rice. The flavor profile of the two entrees were similar so next time I’d try something different. Both were really tasty. I was not disappointed with my meal. I ordered the chocolate cake to take home for later and I wouldn’t order that again. On the delivery app it comes out to $9 and it’s a pretty small piece and not remarkable. Overall I would definitely come back and try more.

Read moreI am a huge fan of chilaquiles and their chilaquiles were the best I've had. It was so authentic and included all the classic ingridients like the egg, crema, cheese, and beans but made vegan.
They're chinese food selection is also incredible! They're shrimp and fried rice was so good! I can't recommend this place enough. Definitely a hidden gem.

I thought this was a vegan restaurant because it says "plant based" at the top of their entire menu in the shop. You should update the menu because I think this is confusing. It confused me at least!

Hello Amymartyn, our team and menu are pretty clear, we actually name or faux proteins with very different names to ensure out kitchen and friends know what they are getting. Our Team member said he asked multiple times if you wanted vegan plant base or regular, and that you asked for regular carne asada, we do not call our vegan plant base proteins carne asada we call them steak as carne = beef, so not sure how you were able to inform the order taker that you wanted carne asada as that name doesn't get used for plant base menu. Our screens do show the plant base menu, our printed menus are also clearly marked as the plant base menu are a different color and in large letters say plant base.

Follow us on instagram, facebook or tiktok and we do show some clips on how we wash and clean after every order and we cook to order. Our order taker always tries to also confirm and ask our sunny friends if their order will be vegan or regular, and guides/provides the appropriate menu as we separate both menus the vegan plant base and the animal base. But our focus is plant base which is why you will see them on the screen.
Its unfortunate you experienced this miscommunication, and we hope to see you again now that you understand how important the names are and listening to our team when confirming the order, the receipts are pretty clear also as they are written to ensure the team in the kitchen can clearly understand when a meal is vegan plant base. Ok, we will consider it for the next update, at the moment we want our community to try and focus on plant base meals, which is why the TV Menu says Plant Base, if you order from that Menu, then your meal WILL be plant base. We are mainly plant base and offer meat options. Just want to be clear, that when you order/request plant base or say the plant base name you will receive a Vegan or Plant Base Meal. For all orders we clean after every order is cooked and new dishes are used and all animal product and plant base are separated. As a note for everyone that may read this please request your receipt and if it shows an actual animal name then you will receive animal product, also all our vegan dishes will have PB in front of it.

I loved that they have so many vegan and plant based options. The staff/owners are so friendly. They kept checking on us, making sure we liked the food, we had everything we needed, etc. Both Chinese and Mexican menus looked awesome, but i had to try the chow mein, fried rice, orange nuggets, and glazed shrimp. Ordered the peppered steak, orange nuggets, chow mein and fried rice for hubby to go. We both really enjoyed the food. Can’t wait to go back.

Great dining for vegans - entire plant based menu with Mexican and Chinese options. We started with the habañero drumbsticks (yes with a b) that were very tasty. The orange cauliflower was good too, as were the noodles and fried rice. Passion fruit agua fresca was a little too sweet - we watered it down and shared. Vegan horchata was just the right level of sweetness.we also had jackfruit enchiladas that weren't bad.

Yes Jason. We are. Our plan was to hopefully have people mix and transition from animal to plant base. Currently we are still not there as our sunny friends are either vegan and order plant base or are not vegan and order animal base. We will reach our mission once we can get animal base friends to order their 2 item Chinese combo and get 1 entree plant base and 1 entree animal base as they transition to becoming vegan. But your review and the continued support has helped others see and try plant base.

This place is fairly new and I love it so much I had to add it to Happy Cow. So many vegan options and great service!! I've had breakfast here, tacos, a BLT, shrimp, and a grilled cheese so far... all vegan, delicious, and pretty cheap!
