Tasty Pad Thai in a Fancy Setting - Edit
It’s always nice to have fancy restaurants that are vegan or have vegan choices for special occasions. This place has a few vegan options clearly labeled.
Read moreThe vegan pad thai had a great flavor.
Cons: Wish it had more vegan options

Great atmosphere food is ok. - Edit
Came here because it was open late on a Sunday and we wanted sushi. They were able to seat us quickly without a reservation. The server was nice and they do have vegan options marked on the menu.
Read moreThe Garden futimaki was delicious. The chap chae was very salty and the vegan eggplant buns took so long we lost our appetite and could not eat them. Not sure what they will taste like in the AM.
Pros: Some vegan options, Great atmosphere , Nice server
Cons: Not many vegan rolls, Food took a while

First of all… - Edit
They have a total of 3 vegan options. 1 of those being edamame beans as an appetizer. Service was amazing. The vegan options? Awful. The fried veggie rice was average at best. Why do Asian restaurants in Nashville use biryani rice instead of just long grain white or brown rice? It changes the entire flavor of the dish. 2/5 stars on the veggie rice. & for the second & last vegan option, the pad Thai. Some of the worst I’ve had. They use the pad Thai sauce that you can buy on Amazon or grab at Whole Foods that has EXTRA tamari sauce in it. Almost makes the dish taste like a dessert dish. Pad Thai 1.5/5. We paid $45 before tip for those two dishes. Unacceptable for the quality of the food. Idk where all the other good reviews are coming from. I’m just grateful we had a meal yesterday tbh. Over Nashvilles vegan options lol.

Pleasantly surprised - Edit
My wife and I went here for our anniversary and was surprised at the vegetarian menu, and the different things you could get vegan. We got the caterpillar roll, pad Thai and fried rice. The fried rice was so flavorful but I felt like the pad Thai wasn’t as good. I could’ve eaten three of tne caterpillar rolls myself. Took a while for anyone to take our order but after that it was fine. Manager came over to check and see if we were doing well, and everyone was super friendly. We even got free sorbet for our anniversary.

Great food, small portions - Edit
I love the atmosphere, great service, ample vegan options, and the food tastes great.
Read moreWe got the steamed buns with eggplant (make sure to ask for it to be vegan - the panko crust it normally has isn't vegan). These are so good. I also got the garden roll sushi. Basil, mango, avocado, asparagus, and cucumber. It was delicious.
But at the end of dinner I was still hungry.
We actually went out afterwards and got a side of French fries at another restaurant! Lol
Pros: Plenty of vegan options, Nice atmosphere , Yummy food
Cons: Expensive , Small portions

Upscale Vegan - Edit
If you’re looking for a more of a high-end vegan experience, Sunda is the perfect place!
Read moreOthers here shared a separate vegan menu that was available for them, but I was just given a GF and vegetarian menu. The server let us know though that everything on the vegetarian menu could be made vegan.
Even for a fancier place, prices were not too bad. Service was great and food came out in a decent amount of time.
Pros: Veg menu

Awesome vegan menu - Edit
You have to request the vegan menu, but it was extensive. We had the pad Thai and a sushi roll, both of which were delicious. They also have a vegan dessert option (mochi!) which isn't on the menu

Amazing Bao! - Edit
Just a perfect steamed bun. Crunchy onion and wonderfully sauced mushroom. I'll be comparing all future Bao to these!

Great vegan menu - Edit
They've got a separate vegan menu with lots up options. They serve family style - so that you share each item with the table. The food and service were both very good.

Huge menu - Edit
I appreciate the separate vegan menu with lots and lots of items. I got the caterpillar sweet potato sushi which was lovely but honestly a little on the bland side. The mushroom steamed buns were out of this world. They lost a few points for the unnecessarily loud dance music that was playing even on my Monday night visit. If I lived here, I would come again.

Vegan menu made it easy! - Edit
It was great to find a trendy/upscale restaurant with a separate vegan menu. The vegan menu contained lots of options that sounded tasty. We ordered sushi and Pad Thai to share. Both were good, although I preferred the sushi. The Pad Thai was a generous size and enough for two people to share for sure. The service here was good too. I recommend this place if you're looking for a restaurant on the fancier side!
