Favourite vegan spot in Bristol (& potentially the world!) - Edit
Have absolutely loved everything I've tried here - very filling portions but so good I can never resist sides and dessert so always leave ready to burst! I particularly enjoyed the kimchi fritters and bbq tempeh bites, and the banana donuts were unreal... Love that they grow some of their own ingredients and are transparent about where they source what they sell too! Very aesthetic interior as well :)

Couldn't decide what to have, so I went with the waitress' recommendation. Was not disappointed! Everything was very nice and a reasonable price :). The menu is quite small, but there was more than enough choice.

Disappointing - Edit
After many good reviews for this place on happycow, we decided to try it out but it was rather a disappointing visit. The food that we were served was uninteresting, really not that tasty and the portion size was very small (you NEED to order side dishes with your main lunch dish if you want to feel fairly full).

Fabulous! - Edit
I convinced a non vegan to come with me and we were not disappointed. The kofta was nutty and delicious and the tomato 🍅 sauce was out of this world! I thought I was in Greece 🇬🇷 - it was that good. Also had the banana donuts 🍩 with blackberries and date ice cream. I was too full to eat them - but I did anyway. Sensational.

DELICIOUS - Edit
A light and airy space, calm vibe. The staff are all lovely, and considerate to my dietary requirements without making a fuss. I ordered the Szechuan braised shiitake and it was DELICIOUS. Wonderful flavours, balanced beautifully. Portion size was enormous, but I am a hungry hippo so that was fine for me! The last two times I have been here I think I probably picked not the best things on the menu - because today I am blown away. Lovely simple yet perfectly formed food. Thank you ❤️

I’ve been here a couple of times and think the food is tasty and authentic. The portion sizes aren’t huge, but the prices are reasonable and I’ve felt full both times I’ve been here.

The desserts were delicious by the way! - Edit
5/5 for the food. Lots of variety and range of both interesting flavours and ingredients. Well combined dishes, indicating knowledgeable chefs and staff.
Read more5/5 for the decor and general distribution of the establishment. They've managed to incorporate the antique and the modern. Novelty factor is also on view with the hydroponic installation.
4/5 for the staff and service. The guy on front of house was courteous and professional. The other staff members were less friendly and focused, rightly enough on their own tasks. The fact the the kitchen is open planned and in full view would suggest that even the kitchen staff are inclined to be face to face with the customers, so by Bristol standards one may have expected a friendlier demeanor.
5/5 for the relation between value to price. Mains at only £7.50 are hard to beat.
The desserts were delicious by the way!

First Time Visit - Edit
I visited Suncraft a couple of days ago and would definitely recommend it. I would like to have seen more potato cakes, but then it was only a side dish. Can't spel the name of the main course I had, but loved the blend of flavours of the brown rice and mushrooms and everything. I also enjoyed the banana frittas I had for desert and was glad there were at least a couple of ice-creams on offer.

Brilliant food, lovely restaurant - Edit
Doesn't look much from the outside, but really modern and nice inside. All the food is vegan and gluten-free and each dish has the allergens listed next to it. We had starters, main courses and desserts. The particular highlights were the banana fritters for dessert and the cauliflower and kimchi cakes for starter. The staff were really polite and nice and we'd definitely be back again., great place!

The coconut curry with noodles was impressive but very expensive for what it was. The potato cakes were nice but I didn't like what it came with, also expensive. The oat cold brew thing was amazing! A wholesome healthy milkshake! Amazing chocolate ganoush!

A really varied and interesting menu. I wasn't sure what to have as everything looked great. I ended up with a lentil stew with injera which was delicious. Me and my friends shared some side dishes as well which were equally great.

Fresh...Proper Vegan Food! - Edit
Love this place, a really chilled and utopian space to relax in, serving a small but amazing 100% plant based, 100% gluten free offering, not a falafel or shaved carrot in site, this is clever and adventurous... ate the Caribbean Ital Stew last time and it was fab, the Gochujang Stew is my favourite! dishes change seasonally I think and the puddings are amazing, they make their own cold pressed juices, so fresh and reasonable too, love it! X
