Not Sure What We Missed

Based on all other good reviews, we were disappointed in our meal. Vegan sushi rolls were okay at best and both of our mains left much to be desired. Sweet and Sour Coconut Tofu was mostly a bowl of cold plain jasmin rice and the sweet and sour was bottled sweet chili sauce. Small amount of tofu. Make your own bowl, lacked flavour and we both commented that we could have done better making something at home. Service was not attentive. We won’t go back.

Big tasty portions

Chanh Leo is an Asian drink similar to mojito but better. Ambiance isn't as nice as some other places. Upstairs seating is better.

Pros: Lots of vegan options

Cons:

Good fast food with vegan options

The food was tasty but for me a little bit too heavy and salty (a lot of oil and soya sauce). Fast and friendly service, really big portions.

Really tasty and creative...worth the wait!

Suna's right on the main drag of Santa Teresa, and there's some fun people-watching if you choose to sit upstairs at the thin bar along its balcony. There's a creative drink menu, though the bartender works VERY SLOWLY. The vegan options are plentiful and interesting. You can choose your own base/protein/sauce/condiments for their wok bowls, so for instance I got udon noodles with vegetables and fried tofu in a curry sauce with peanuts, fried garlic, and lime. My husband got the red curry burrito. We split edamame to start. Again, the food took a long time to come, but it was worth it! The edamame was tender and well-seasoned. The bowl was large and full of flavors and textures. The burrito was a little small but really, really tasty. We talked to the cook afterwards; turns out he dated a vegan a few years ago and learned a lot! Anyway, as long as you're prepared to do a bit of waiting, you'll be happy here.

Pros: Delicious, Interesting, Nice to get some tofu!

Cons: Long waits for food and beverages
