Shared fryer - Edit
Employee stated by phone that the falafel is fried in a fryer used to cook animal flesh.

Actually a 5 - Edit
I would have given a 5 but the app wouldn’t let me. The food is super yummy and it’s a really nice atmosphere! Portion sizes are large and a great deal for the pricing~

Delicious and a Great Find - Edit
I’m so happy to find a local place with delicious vegan/vegetarian options. The lentil soup is so good and the tabouleh is my favorite! My husband loves the chicken souvlaki. The iced tea is good too and that’s a major selling point for us.

My dad and I went here last night. I had the Veggie Delight. It's like a gyro but with falafel rather than meat. It's exceptional. Then I had like, a bean salad. Also very good. I'll totally be going back.
Read morePros: It's a small independently owned restaurant. , There's not a lot of options in my region.

Fresh - Edit
In town for family event. Was looking for something not buffet southern food. Found on Happy Cow app. We were warmly welcomed, did take out, it was late and they were graciously open. Nothing particularly vegan but definite options on the menu as described. Very fresh ingredients and pita bred hot out of the oven. I ordered only sides and husband the lamb kebab. He was very pleased and next time I will order the veggies that came with his entree! Beans and steamed broccoli medley.

We had never noticed this place before despite many, many trips to HPU. What a find! We had delicious tabbouli and vegetarian grape leaves for lunch. Can't wait to come back again!
