Don't come

The food is not good and expensive. Go mid valley - the gardens absolute thai. They have better Thai food there.

Could improve on service

Have been to there for their normal dine in and buffet.
Dine in foods were good, some were a little bit pricey but worth a try.
The buffet experience was my nightmare. I guess it caused by the curry which is not hot enough. I had diarrhea for 2 days after eating.
So I would suggest you go for the normal dine in so you can have hot and fresh foods.

Pros: Great taste

Cons: Service could be better and more professional

Potentially good but not particularly memorable as is

The food we tasted was actually pretty good. The tofu was high-quality and the green curry was decent, if a little under-flavoured. The service was a little pushy as we did not have a lot of time to go through the menu and were prompted to order more than once. Although the food was authentic, the inside of the restaurant lacked any real character. It just looked like part of the hotel. Probably needs a few more original touches to make it a more memorable experience.

Pros: Some tasty food, Seemed to use decent ingredients

Cons: Service a little shaky, Some dishes overly-expensive, Hotelesque interior - What do you expect?

Didn't get to try the food

I went to this restaurant last night (Saturday 11th Feb 2017) to attend the KL vegans and vegetarians meet up (arranged on meetup.com).

I used Waze rather than happy cow to find the place, since the happy cow map location differed from both google maps and Waze (I have since requested the happy cow entry be updated).

Parking was a nightmare, despite there being some hotel parking - I'm not sure if it's always this busy on Saturday nights, but the car park was packed, and many resorted to parking on the main road outside the hotel (a 3 lane highway).

There were 7 of us in total, a reservation had been made, but sadly, the restaurant was busy and seemed very understaffed. No one came to take our order, and when we did finally order (an hour or so after many of us had arrived), it appeared that our order had been lost, as we had to reorder our drinks after waiting for about half an hour (just for drinks). There was a general feeling of frustration in the restaurant, as many tables around us were also waiting. We made several enquires as to how much longer we would need to wait for our food (even just the appetisers!), but were not given an indication of how much longer it would take. After waiting more than an hour and a half we asked to cancel our order so we could go elsewhere (many of us had been at the venue for almost 3 hours by this point). We were able to cancel our order without any fuss (which implied they had maybe not started preparing it?), and we were not asked to pay for the drinks that had arrived.

Happy cow wouldn't let me give anything less than 2 stars since this is a fully vegetarian restaurant... maybe this is fair enough - I don't actually know what the food is like, since we never got to try it!

From a vegan perspective, there are lots of menu options (you can see the full menu on their website), but it is not clear whether the mock meat/seafood contains egg/albumin/whey and I did not have the opportunity to ask. Some of the drinks contain honey and some contain condensed milk (this is not always clear from the menu, so do ask). There were also several menu items that had been crossed out (out of stock).

One more thing to add is that the night we went actually coincided with the 15th day of Chinese New Year, which many celebrate in Malaysia. We wondered whether this could have been the reason for the poor service/lack of staff. Without going back (which I have no desire to do) it is hard to know whether our experience is common at this restaurant, or if we were just unlucky.

Pros: We were not asked to pay for our drinks.

Cons: Hard to find parking., Very poor service.
