Sufra - Edit
A small restaurant serving Palestinian dishes, though nothing on the menu was clearly labelled as vegan. Some staff members were knowledgeable about which options could be made vegan, while others seemed less certain.
Read moreI ordered the falafel and houmous to take away, which came with plenty of bread. The falafel were delicious — perfectly crispy on the outside and full of flavour. The houmous, however, had a slightly unusual aftertaste to me.
Overall, worth a try if you’re in Rabat, a city that has limited vegan options.

Tasty food and friendly service - Edit
We had an assortment of appetizers for our dinner — humus, falafel platter, muhamara(red pepper), fuul (fava beans), and fatoush salad. All very delicious and tasted “homemade” (in a good way). Large portion sizes that my husband and I did not finish everything. Falafel pieces were a bit on the small side of what we’re used to, so thought that they came out a bit too crispy, even on the inside. Looks like they’re family owned and all are very friendly and helpful. Found inexpensive but it appears to be right on par with local restaurants in the area. Would give 5 stars for the quality and service but app does not allow since they are not fully vegan.

Falafel wrap is the smallest I’ve ever had, but it is good - Edit
Stopped by here to sit down and eat and got fries and a falafel wrap. Fry portion wasn’t big but the wrap was really tiny and not the usual falafel loaded up with veggies wrap that I’d expect. That said, I wasn’t too upset about it because it was absolutely delicious.

Wonderful Palestinian Food! - Edit
I really loved dining in this pretty little Palestinian restaurant in Rabat. It was decorated with nice Palestinian posters and items. The waitstaff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my hearty 'habat remanah' lentil and eggplant stew. I also had a refreshing 'citron a la menthe' drink and yummy fries too!

Delicious Palestinian food with a lovely atmosphere. The Chickpea Fatteh (vegetarian) was very good. The fries were excellent too.

Great food and very generous portions - Edit
I really loved this spot a lot. Delicious, really good hummus and tasty falafel. The falafel came out with what I thought was yogurt drizzled on top but the owner said it was tahini. Tasty, and the portion of hummus was huge! Falafel, hummus, bread, and drink for 65, not bad.

Huge, tasty portions and excellent value - Edit
My partner and I stopped here for an early dinner.
Read moreWe ordered 2 lemon/mint soft drinks fatoush, falafel and foul (fava beans). We also ordered tabbouleh but they forgot it. We were going to remind them but didn't bother when we saw the portions. There was loads! Mainly because bread seemed to be included with the foul and the falafel but wasn't listed.
The whole thing cost about 120DH for us both. So about £10 Absolutely amazing value!
Staff were polite and friendly.
Pros: Delicious food, Huge portions, Excellent value

Ok food in a not so vegan friendly town - Edit
We first tried the Cafe la Scene since it had good reviews and looked really nice place but unfortunately it was closed/reserved for a special event.
Read moreWe then went to Sufra and tried the eggplant, and as recommended, with no Yoghurt on top. It was OK, nothing special. The staff is nice and kind.
Good to have an option in a not-so easy-to-be-vegan city 😊

YUM, but… - Edit
All food from here was lovely. The aubergine was a particular highlight, but remember to ask for it WITHOUT the cream sauce if you want fully vegan/not vegetarian! The falafels were lovely.

Very good food here - Edit
I had a very good lunch at Sufra. I ordered the chickpeas fatteh (this is basically hummus spooned on top of fried bits of pita bread). I also ordered the fatouch (this is a salad made of tomatoes, onions, fried pita bits and cucumber pieces in a lemon dressing. Both items very tasty and I recommend them. The total for this was 65 dirhams in February 2023 with no drink. It seemed to be vegan to me.

Good and inexpensive - Edit
Really enjoyed my food here, just be careful because the menu is not accurate. I ordered the eggplant fatteh, which did not say in English or French that it comes with yogurt sauce (unlike the chickpea fatteh which did say it included yogurt sauce). However, it's just on top of the fatteh and can easily be removed to make it vegan if requested. It also comes with bread and that wasn't clear either. I would absolutely go back again!
