Little Choc of Horrors - Edit
These chocolates look pretty, the packaging is classy, and the descriptions are mouthwatering. The woman who served us was lovely and friendly too. But the proof of the chocolates is in the eating and these are horrible. I mean, they go out of their way to be horrible with goo in the middle that's a bit like something you'd cough up if you had a bad cold. They're not soft centres, liquid centres, or foam; they're just weird.
Read moreI bought them as a gift to share with my partner - vegan ones for me, non-vegan for him - and presented them with this-is-how-much-I-love-you flourish. We were both deeply disappointed. This is not chocolate made from good quality ingredients. The flavours are dreadful. The texture is vile. The lesson for me is this. Once they're in your mouth you can't see how they look and so don't buy based on looks! There is a much, much better independent chocolatier in Nottingham and a much, much better chain. If you want to try these for yourself ask to try one (£2 each at the time of writing) before you part with your hard-earned.
