Excellent food. I had the ravioli, which were simply divine. My husband, the black rice with seitan "meat," which equally was excellent. I can only recommend that place. And what a joy knowing that everything is vegan and you don't need to ask for the ingredients. When visiting Toledo, you should stop here for lunch (or dinner).

Si a algo me recuerda el nombre de este restaurante es a la canción de Bert Berns y Phil Medley más tarde popularizada mundialmente por The Beatles, «Twist and shout». No sólo por su parecido fonético (que algo de intención habrá) si no a la propia letra de la canción, especialmente al verso que dice «shake it up, baby».
Read moreUn poco de ese «leitmotiv» es lo que creo que Nacho Sánchez intenta transmitir con su cocina callejera en el mismísimo centro histórico de Toledo (que no es poco): coge elementos de la gastronomía mediterránea, india, tailandesa y méxicana, lo pasa por el filtro vegano/vegetariano y lo agita muy fuerte. ¿El resultado? Una carta magnífica que hacen de este lugar la mejor opción vegetal de la ciudad. Si soy sincero, he ido dos o tres veces y he probado las croquetas de verduras al curry, las albóndigas de pescado vegetal, alguna hamburguesa además de varios postres, pero lo que sin duda marca la diferencia es el arroz negro con Satay de carne vegetal. Es brutal.
El interior (especialmente el sótano) es muy bonito, con un ambiente muy agradable y si quieres otra recomendación aparte del arroz negro, prueba a visitarlo un día que pueda haber menos comensales, la atención y la experiencia mejora cuando el estrés es menor en la sala. Espero volver pronto, dudo que me canse de girar y gritar.

Tiene entrantes, platos principales, hamburguesas y postres. El precio que tiene es acorde a la calidad de la comida, sin duda. Nosotros comimos la ensalada de pera, los gnocchi morados, el arroz negro con satay y la tarta de ferrero, estaba todo muy muy rico. Además el sitio es bonito y el camarero muy agradable.

Food was original and very flavorful.
Great surprise to have such good food in such a small historic city.

We were hungry and it was so hot that day in Taledo. We were looking for vegan food and a place to cool down a bit and that's when we came across this restaurent in happy cow and it turned out to be so good. It's located really well,cool ambience , lovely staff and super tasty food ! .. we tried their Ramen and coffee dessert in a cup ...delicious!

Near a busy touristy street, had wide range of dishes. Got the chicken with black rice dish and a orange rosemary juice. Both were delicious. Bigger space downstairs for groups as well.

wife and I went here for lunch. We had the arugula salad and mushroom ravioli, and curry dish. All of it was fantastic and tasted freshly made. We also had two large beers. We didn’t have room for dessert. I highly recommend going here for any vegan or non-vegan, who likes tasty food, total bill was €49. We did leave a tip of over the standard 10%, since we enjoyed it so much.
