Several imaginatively prepared vegan options

The menu must change regularly; despite a review here to the contrary, when we had dinner there in August 2024 there were enough vegan dishes, plus an optionally vegan dish or two, to keep me (the veganest member of our party) very happy. I loved the pan con tomate (toasted bread, tomato, roasted garlic, olive oil), chickpea hummus and sautéed mushrooms with dukkah and pita, and charred za'atar eggplant with muhammara, tahini, black salt, and pita. Sharing around those three, plus a plate with a seafood protein, otherwise vegan, more than satisfied us three hungry eaters. (If you need piled-high portions to feel satisfied, choose something different from a tapas-style restaurant.) Located on Commercial Street but several blocks from the hubbub in the quiet East End, our front patio outdoor seating provided a thoroughly pleasant, unhurried atmosphere.

Pros: Tasty and intriguingly prepared vegan options, Pleasant outdoor seating, Excellent, attentive service

Light Fare Good Options

Just reopened this week with new menu. All small plates. Three were vegan all with terrific flavor: chickpea hummus, with tiny roasted mushrooms, and pita for dipping; charred za'atar eggplant, muhammara with tahini, and pita for dipping; Spanish tomato bread (think garlic bread with salty tomato topping). Great pops of flavor. Get an extra side of pita for the hummus as it is a good amount.

Pros: Intense flavors, Good for sharing, Nice vibe

Cons: Could use a salad option, Vegan options not marked

Expensive food with small portions

This restaurant is defined by it's small portions and expensive food. I paid close to $45 without a beverage and left hungry. The wait staff is friendly, but I could not help but feel I was being taken advantage of.

Misrepresented

Happy Cow really blew it on this one. Reading the description , it sounded like a great vegan option. However none of the choices listed on Happy Cow were available and haven’t been for a long time. Although everyone was very nice, they were not at all vegan friendly. We both ended up with arugula salads and a nice strong cocktail. I would not recommend this restaurant for anyone vegan or vegetarian since there is nothing on the menu to order and they were not willing to create anything vegan for us. Frankly, it should be removed from the Happy Cow site.

Pros: Good cocktails

Cons: Nothing for vegans, Expensive

Great for Ptown

Nice atmosphere and can easily make pizza, salad and app vegan. Not labeled, but we lucked out with a friendly vegan server who helped us out.

Very cute patio

Our waitress was knowledgeable and helpful. The menu had plenty of vegetable dishes that were easily made vegan, sharing style. The hummus was very tasty.

Delicious vegan thin crust pizza

Would have given this place 5 stars if happy cow allowed it (the app says it’s reserved for fully vegan restaurants). I came here last night with my family for my birthday dinner and loved it! Loved the atmosphere and decor, exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff, and delicious vegan options. Their hummus is vegan, and I think also an eggplant dish. We asked if the flatbread pizzas could be made vegan, and they checked the ingredients for us and were pleased to report that the dough is completely vegan, and they suggested removing the mozzarella and topping it with some nice oven roasted veggies and fresh arugula. It was absolutely delicious! Definitely plan to come here again, maybe tonight!

Pros: Extremely friendly and accommodating staff, Delicious vegan flatbread , Beautiful decor

Ptown fave

My favorite spot for dinner in Ptown. I'm slightly addicted to the warm mushroom hummus and the roasted eggplant and tahini app. So freaking good. The hot pepper app, without the sausage, is also excellent.

I've tried the vegan style scallops and I would not recommend it, might have just been the time I got it but the mushrooms were extremely chewy and in small portion for price. We tried their vegan dessert, not sure if it was the mentioned shortcake topped berry crumble, but it also was dissapointing. None-the-less, love this spot

Excellent restaurant in P-Town

This restaurant was a nice find given the limited options for Vegans on Cape Cod. Not only do they have several vegan dishes, they are also willing to adjust other dishes to remove the meat or cheese. It is Mediterranean themed where you order plates for the table to share. The mushroom hummus was outstanding - one of the best I have had in a restaurant. The scalloped mushrooms are amazing with the King mushrooms cut like scallops that you would almost swear are real scallops. We also shared the roasted eggplant and ordered the pepper dish without the sausage. The did not have the vegan dessert which was disappointing but we certainly did not leave hungry.

Pros: Many vegan dishes, Willingness to alter other menu items to vegan, Knowledgeable wait staff

Cons: Expensive , Busy but they have call ahead seating

Delicious food, gorgeous back patio

Most of the vegan options in Provincetown are on the casual side, so we were thrilled to find that this beautiful, more upscale dinner spot has so many veg-friendly options. The scalloped mushrooms were INCREDIBLE, and they even have a vegan dessert, the berry coconut shortcake! Servers are knowledgeable about what is vegan and what isn’t. Ask to sit on the back patio near the garden!
