My favorite! - Edit

Stranded is awesome. Jorge, the owner, is super sweet and cares a lot about having vegan options. Every day there are three different Cake Thieves vegan baked goods to choose from, as well as oat milk, almond milk, and vegan house-made syrups. I can’t drink coffee but their chai latte is delicious! Sweet but not too sweet. For coffee recs, my boyfriend always gets the Maribel, which is made with oat milk by default.

For a long time they served Plantaqueria vegan tacos but since a taco truck opened next to them they’ve stopped. Unfortunately the taco truck doesn’t really have vegan options (beware that their flour tortillas are made with lard) so that’s a bummer.

Anyway, point is that Stranded is great, the guys all know their regular customers by name and drink order, and as a business they prioritize vegan options. You should definitely check them out.

The taco truck does use vegan tortillas, and there beans are vegan as well. I get a bean/potato taco a few times a week. They also have nopales to put in there too and avocado and stuff.
