An independent specialty coffee shop within HiStore, a shop showcasing the work of local illustrators. Serves single origin espresso coffee from Pharmacie Coffee Roasters, a Brighton-based company who use ethically sourced & organic coffee from small worldwide producers. Bags of retail coffee beans from Pharmacie are available, alongside a range of coffee equipment. At the time of this writing (Feb 2019) they only serve coffee and cake, but customers are welcome to bring in savory food and snacks from Trinity Wholefoods next door. Usually 50/50 vegan and vegetarian cakes, gluten free and raw cake options. Barista oat & coconut (and whole dairy milk). To go coffee is an option. Some vegan staff. Shop itself is wheelchair accessible but the restroom is not yet. Open Mon-Fri 09:00-16:00, Sat 10:00-17:00. Closed Sun.

Great atmosphere, delicious toastie - Edit
I had an oat latte and a vegan toastie which were both great, the toastie in particular (I think it was on focaccia and had hummus, olives, spinach, mushroom, and more!). Staff were friendly and there was a nice atmosphere with a few dogs running around too. A bit expensive (coffee and toastie came to over £10) but I'd definitely recommend.

Popped by here whilst visiting Hastings. Got some chai (loose leaf made) with oat milk (no surcharge, variety of options including pea based milk) which were lovely. Shared a berry flapjack type cake. Friendly staff, nice place. No customer toilet but was able to use the staff one in the back.

Out of 6 cake options 4 were vegan; 2 kinds of dried fruit and nut bars, a brownie and a marzipan cake. They also served vegan milk. The server was very helpful telling us the ingredients of the cakes when asked and the cakes we ordered were very tasty.

Best espresso in Hastings! Fantastic cold brew. Usually two or three vegan cake options, all delicious. Brownie and date caramel slice are particularly good.

The place to go for speciality coffee, supplied by the excellent Pharmacie in Brighton. Espresso drinks are always prepared with care (they weigh and time every shot). Would highly recommend trying the 18 hour cold brew coffee or the turmeric latte if you fancy something different though. The (vegan) Super Dark Brownie they often sell is very special. Nice that they let their customers buy lunch from the vegetarian wholefood shop next door, who offer a good range of wraps, salads, vegan sausage rolls etc. At the time of writing this review, the map marker is a bit misleading; the shop is actually pretty central, just off Robertson Street and the seafront.
