Really good vegan jambalaya

The restaurant has a few vegan options clearly marked on the menu. Since vegan jambalaya is not something we see often we decided to try it, with vegan ceviche as a starter. The vegan ceviche wax pretty much a salad with chopped veggies, mango and jackfruit served with unsalted corn chips. Not great and not something I would order again. The vegan jambalaya on the other hand was definitely worth having. Slightly spicy with big chunks of Beyond sausage, it was definitely the best vegan jambalaya I’ve had.

Pros: Clearly marked vegan items, Large resto with lots of seating

Happily surprised

Came here last year and was super unimpressed but so glad we gave them another try! Did the taco meal which is 2 tacos & fries for $20 - the vegan taco was delicious!! I’d definitely order again. Hubby had 2 vegan banh bao for $15 and he loved it. Highly recommended. Next on the list is from the bar tender who was awesome - very attentive, welcoming and attentive. He recommended the veg gyozas. Yum! 😍❤️❤️

Pros: Cauliflower tacos , bahn baos , Gyozas (to try)

Cons: Loud but there was a game and bingo

Not very vegan

Came here because of the HappyCow listing but it's not really a HappyCow place. The disappointing 'Plant Based' section on the menu lists things that are vegetarian, but not all vegan. There's quite a lot on the menu that could easily be vegan but isn't, including a Beyond Meat cheeseburger with dairy cheese and, oddly, a dairy-containing bun. Modern brewery feel, service friendly enough. Might warrant inclusion if it were in a small town with few vegetarian/vegan options, but not in Vancouver.

Pros: Food's not bad, Friendly service, Good selection of beers

Cons: Limited vegan options, 'Plant Based' menu section isn't

Loved my salad!

I had the Kale & Quinoa Power Salad and it was delicious! I took quite long because they gave it to someone else first, but they made it up with a free drink

Pros: Nice atmosphere , Good customer service, Several options
