Yummy for the belly (especially for vegans) - Edit
Great meal that I think is very homey. You can get a small plate (2 sides), medium (3 sides) or a large (4 sides). I ordered a medium main plate (the citrus chick’n, which was amazingly tasty with its sweet and tangy taste) and I was so full from the tasty combo with the sides. I also loved their appetizers: mushroom bites and the Chick’n drumsticks: these are fried, so a little bit in the unhealthy side, but still tasted great. I highly recommend!

Everything was amazing,
The rice and peas, the citrus chick’n, the plantains weren’t oily and again… the fried chick’n was AMAZING!
On top of that the service was very welcoming and patient- which is very appreciated.

Flavor Bomb.... vegans rejoice - Edit
This meal was absolutely delicious, so much flavor coming from herbs and seasonings, not salt. Every side and protein I've tasted is unique in it's own way but all the flavors work together to complement each other. My favorite is the citrus chick'n, veggie rice and okra sides. Tangy and full-bodies flavors. One of my absolute new favorite spots, definitely #1 in all of NYC for vegan food. Large portions, tasty and reasonably priced.

Who puts tomatoes and cucumber in burritos?! - Edit
I was excited to see a place like this in the neighborhood, but my first experience here was a letdown.
Read moreI asked for patties which they didn’t have, so then I asked for a beyond burger that they didn’t have. Asked for a burrito with chicken, and while it was prepped fast, it had ingredients I never seen in burritos like cucumbers, tomatoes… this was a wrap with rice and beans, not a burrito. Wasn’t worth the price either.
Maybe if I get a dinner entree, I’d have a different experience, but this first visit left a “meh” taste in my mouth to go here again.
I was also hoping to order online in advance but they currently are not on any major food delivery services.
Pros: Cozy inside
Cons: Expensive for quality of food, Food was mediocre, Cant order online/delivery
