Great vegan options

Great restaurant. The bowls are definitely not made of plastic - they are fully compostable and made of plant material. The spoons are also made of wooden. I really appreciated that the owners are trying to be more environmentally friendly instead of using single use plastics.

The food was delicious with many many vegan options - quinoa, greens, edamame, avocado, many different veggie options (I had broccoli, brussel sprouts, and cucumber. I got a small bowl but they really packed it in - generous serving sizes.

The owner was helpful, friendly, fast, and nice to talk with about the island. They have outdoor tables currently and are waiting for permitting on indoor tables. I will definitely go again when on the island.

Pros: healthy, ample vegan options for building your bowl, fast and friendly service

Mediocre bowls with cold tofu

The good thing is that it exists - if the neighboring Sprout is closed, it’s a place where you can get a filling vegan meal. And they also have edamame, black beans, and lots of veggies and three vegan sauces. Alas, the tofu is uncooked and cold, and they poured the Thai peanut sauce over it in a completely unappealing way. Also, everything comes in disposable plastic bowls, even if you eat on the premises.

Pros: Sufficient vegan options

Cons: Tofu is cold and not fried, Presentation is not appealing , Plastic

In regards to this comment, I most recently went to Spoon Drift with my family and everyone enjoyed it. My sister and I who are vegan, loved the tofu. I asked if it was cooked and they do in fact cook it in there oven with soy sauce to give it a nice flavor. I throughly enjoyed it. All the food that is in the cold section is in fact cold, mainly because that is how a poke bowl is made. They do have a few hot items but only to top off your bowl. They can’t put hot food items at the bottom of the bowl because it is made out of corn starch and not plastic. So the bowls that you get your food in are in fact not plastic. There utensils are wooden along with the corn starch serving bowls. When me and my family ate there they gave us an option to put the sauce on top or on the side, I chose on the top and got Thai peanut. All there sauces are gluten and dairy free and they also have vegan dressings as well. Overall - a great meal!!!

Tasty, fresh, filling

What a gem of a find in Sanibel. Loved the healthy options. This is a bowl place, where you choose your base, protein, veggies, toppings, etc.

The tofu is merely pressed and cubed, not cooked or seasoned in any way, but otherwise the bowl was very tasty. Owner says they are working on more vegan options for dressings. Dressings that are vegan currently: sweet chili, Thai peanut, sesame soy, herb vinaigrette.

Brussels sprouts were excellent. Everything was fresh. Staff couldn’t have been nicer. Place is clean and well-kept, small tables outside, ample parking. Loved it. Can’t wait to go back.

Pros: Fresh ingredients , Flavorful , Really nice people

Cons: Bland tofu
