The best vegan restaurant and bakery in Ft Worth - Edit
We love visiting Spiral Diner! Brunch is awesome on the weekends, my wife can never get enough of their GIANT nacho plate (we usually take home the leftovers for another meal!) And, we usually grab a couple of baked treats for desert later.

Great place for a big American diner experience + specialty items - Edit
Did you know that they sell a vegan Worcestershire sauce here?! My one piece of advice is to order less than you think because it's SO much delicious "dirty vegan" food.

Cons: Family friendly and crowded vibe (could be a con)

Best vegan food in Texas! - Edit
I have spent 10 days in Texas - Houston, Austin, Fort Worth, and Dallas - this is my favorite spot by far! Great atmosphere with friendly staff and, most importantly the food was incredible. I had the Jalapeño Popper sandwich which was so unique - amazing spicy flavor with super melts cheese and an awesome imitation bacon that was the closest thing I’ve ever had to the real thing. My mom had the Hell’s Half Acre - a plate with BBQ chicken, coleslaw, broccoli, Mac and cheese, and Texas Toast. Wow! The BBQ was covered in amazing sauce but still crispy. Again, never had anything so close to the real thing.

We know why you came... Nachos - Edit
My first experience as a vegan came here. I was so happy to be back here this year to try those nachos again... Exactly as I remember and still delicious. Anyone is welcome here and it's in a great area. You won't be disappointed

Fun & casual - Edit
Fun and artsy environment with super friendly staff! Came back several times in a 4 day span, and loved my meal every time. They also have a tiny grocery section in the front of the restaurant in case you need a box of Mac & cheese to go. Came with a non-veggie who loved it as well and was just as excited to return!

Great food. Outrageous noise level!!! - Edit
Food is top notch. Been to this location and the one in Dallas on multiple occasions. Overall, my experiences with spiral diner have been amazing. Fair prices and great food. Staff is friendly as well. Menu has a ton of options. It is rare to have this many options at a vegan restaurant. On this visit i do have to mention that the noise level was nearly unbearable. Averaged 87 decibels over the course of dinner. If you are curious if that is high, check it out online. Music was loud, people were loud. We asked the host if they could turn the music down but i don't think they did. I had to politely yell my order to the waitress because she couldn't hear me. Recommend visiting for breakfast or lunch when this place doesn't have loud music and it isn't packed. Acoustics in the dining room aren't conducive to a family meal when the place is packed. Like i said, food was great though!

Comfort food - Edit
This is my go-to comfort food spot when dining in Fort Worth. They have a big menu and impressive display counter of delicious desserts. The diner is laid-back, welcoming and staff have always been friendly and helpful. Favorite meal has to be the Bacon Ranch cheeseburger with the quinoa patty and whatever fruit pie or cheesecake they have, usually taken to go. The warm oatmeal cranberry cookie sundae is worth it if you have the room!

Very good everything - Edit
Spiral diner is a special place, it was the first vegan food experience in my life around 2004. Being from the most rural area of Texas I was a fish out of water and didn't know what vegan food would be like. Spiral Diner showed me it can be better than traditional non vegan food. Long story short, I worked at spiral for a minute, it's a crucial part of my vegan story and it is my favorite restaurant ever. Go eat at Spiral Diner. I know what i'm about son.

Have a lot of extra time to dine here if you can get a table. You can sit outside on a picnic table in the shade too. They will turn people away if it’s too crowded though. It took a long time to get a to go box and my shake. They’re lucky my smoothie was super good. 😉

I love being here! It's all vegan and such a friendly place to be. There are pride flags mounted around, although the staff there isn't unique they are friendly. The beyond meat burger here is great! I have gotten it three times in a row, and I won't stop until I have had every single milkshake.

Good - Edit
I like Spiral Diner. It’s definitely not my favorite, but they are one of the few completely vegan restaurants in Fort Worth so I can’t really complain. I remember ordering the apples and peanut butter and just being so underwhelmed 😂 Maybe you’ll have better luck with the entrees. The desserts are killer!

35 minute wait.. but worth it! - Edit
I had a Baked Potato Grilled “Cheese” with chips and queso! It was absolutely amazing! The customer service was amazing. They even helped me pick what I want because it was my first time there. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I waited over 30 minutes for my togo order:(

We aren't from the area so we went here on a recommendation from our host. We shared a plate of Nachos Supreme between the two of us and it was amazing. The staff is kind and helpful but doesn't hover over you.
