Doing As The Name Demands - Edit
Sometimes, I unearth a place so incredible that it is almost unfathomable that it hasn’t been listed before. Perhaps people have been trying to keep this boho jewel under-wraps for fear it will become overrun; if so, shame on you! (though I can sympathise, slightly).
Read moreIf options alone were the benchmark for a five-star worthy venue, this place would get six. I spent more time than I can mention mulling over what to actually have, eventually settling on my favourite: a lot.
Now, if the selection managed to nudge this place past the top of the rating threshold, the actual taste catapulted it somewhere near the ten-star mark. The truffle: spectacular. The fudge: unctuous. The cakes: superb. And, the pièce de résistance, the French toast, an unreasonably delicious plate of food that could be one my favourite things I’ve ever eaten. And you know what? The coffee wasn’t bad either.
Never mind coming back here to dine again, I’d move in if I could. Simply wonderful.
