A "Molecular Gastronomy" theme-based vegetarian restaurant serves modern Indian food with a twist. The every day recipes and the street food are presented in a completely different ‘Master Chef Style.' Has plenty of clearly labeled vegan (v) items. Also labels gluten (g), nut (n) and spicy (s) items, in addition to Jain (j) options. Several of the vegan dishes are the quinoa salad, waldorf salad, assorted sprouts, pani puri, and kurkuri bhindi. Open Tue-Sun 11:30am-2:30pm, Tue 5:00pm-9:00pm, Thu 5:00pm-9:00pm, Fri-Sun 5:00pm-10:00pm. Closed Mon.

This is one of the best kept secrets in Bay Area. Easily the best Indian restaurant in Bay Area, although it is in a class by itself and is not a traditional Indian restaurant. The passion of the owners and the chef shines through.
Read moreSpiceKlub serves vegetarian/vegan Indian food with techniques of molecular gastronomy. The food is very flavorful and is not overly spicy in the tradition sense, which is great. The food is clean and fresh. Taste is very good and very balanced. Most importantly, dishes are prepared carefully and conscientiously.
Among the vegan dishes, our favorite appetizers are bhel, panipuri, kurkuri bhindi; The presentation of their bhel is exceptional and the texture incredibly crispy! favorite soup is masala minestrone; favorite curries are litchi tarkari, mushroom rara, vegetables in green masala; favorite bread is plain roti; favorite dessert is chocolate mousse. For vegetarians, there are even more choices. They also have Jain options for people who don’t eat onion and garlic.
The staff is friendly and courteous.

Awesome experience and food presentation! - Edit
A perfect gem for vegetarian people hidden in the heart of the Bay Area. The molecular Gastronomy experience was unique and cool. It resonates perfectly for the Mumbains who have visited this franchise in India. The food experience was unique and nothing I have experienced in an Indian restaurant before—good portion size for a high-end restaurant. Our favs were pav bhaji fondue, Pani puri, Hazari paneer tikka, corn palak lasooni, and mushroom truffle biryani. For dessert, we had paan moose and bubbling Kesar Pista kulfi, which was mind-blowing. Overall, each bite reminded us of Mumbai and left us coming for more. A must-visit for vegetarians!!! The staff and owners are very friendly and the service was quick and efficient.

Creative Indian fusion gastronomy experience with great service - Edit
Our first visit to this All Veg chain and I loved it. SpiceKlub claims to offer a molecular gastronomy treat which is based on a fusion of old Indian recipes presented with foams and nitrogen and the result is a treat for the eyes as well as the mouth. We had the Galouti Kebab, the Mushroom and Spinach Shashlik (mushrooms stuffed with spinach), Papdi Chat that came with a blog of yogurt and a coriander foam, quite tasty. We also had Pani Puri where the spicy water came in chilled tubes and syringe filled with tamarind chutney. Nice twist on a very popular street food in India. The Hazari Paneer tikka was good . The Kathal (jack fruit) Biryani came in a small pot sealed with a flour topping (traditional Dum Biryani ) style and was very tasty and tangy , wish the serving was a little bigger. We also had 3 Rotis ( Bajra, Chilli Cheese Naan, and a Chilli Garlic Naan). All the breads were served hot and freshly cooked. We shared 3 desserts. The Flower Pot which was a rasamalai and Saffron mousse over a chocolate pistachio soil in a chocolate pot , the Paan Mousse was served table side with a carafe of Liquid Nitrogen poured over the stuffed betel leaves creating a fog around the plate. The Motichoor Magic was a combination of two popular sweets Gulab Jamun and Moti Choor Laddoo. Quite a treat!
