Read moreMaybe 3 stars are more accurate it wasn’t terrible. But honestly 7$ coffee that doesn’t taste great isn’t worth a lot of stars. They have clearly marked vegan and vegetarian options (4 vegan ones as far as I know), but haven’t tried so only commenting on coffee (1$ extra for vegan milk) coffee was a bit watered down - large flat white. But I am picky with coffee. View is beautiful though
Go for the view but probably won’t return because coffee wasn’t special or particularly good

Update Nov 2023: their menu no longer labels the vegan options, and many of them have disappeared. For example, they no longer have vegan pancakes.

We've eaten here plenty of times for breakfast. Really great location and lovely atmosphere being right next to Bondi beach. Love all the vegan options, and appreciate the presentation of the food. Would recommend the vegan pancakes if it's your first time :-)

Read moreI ordered the pancakes and unfortunately nothing too special. Most of the fruit on the plate still had its rind. Did look very pretty or make the fruit practical to eat. At $25 a serve, I felt all I was paying for was the view of the beach.
Side note they use Vittoria coffee. It was big in 2005-2010. Then most cafes dropped it for some what local/specialty coffee.
These guys still use Vittoria. Nothing wrong, although makes a bland coffee in my opinion.
I just feel this place could really step up its game.

The food in the Speedos Cafe looks so cool but is pretty hard to eat. At all is the food tasty but nothing special so my advice go once for sure and then decide by yourself if you wanna go more times.

Cute spot for a bite to eat. Coffee and food expensive due to its central location I suppose. Pancakes were nice, nothing mind blowing but presentation was pretty. Got a side of coyo and it was a nice addition.

We went to Speedo`s because of the big hype on Instagram. When we stood outside and looked at the menu on the big board hanging on the wall, we thought the prices are okay for vegan food in Australia. So we went in. We got the menu handed and we were shocked because the prices were much higher than on the board. That was not cool.

But the view over Bondi Beach is amazing!

It’s clear the chef puts a lot of care into their meals as the presentation of all dishes I saw was excellent. The pancakes are indeed tasty, and they do a very smooth soy latte. There was a good variety of choice. Great location just moments from the beach.

Great little restaurant with fantastic vegan options for breakfast and lunch. The vegan burger patties were amazing and there was even a delicious vegan blueberry doughnut. Fully licensed too for a cheeky drink over lunch!

I highly recommend trying out Speedos cafe in North Bondi. They have an awesome range of vegan, vegetarian and dairy free options for breakfast and lunch. It is right near the beach and has a great atmosphere.
