Used to be better - Edit
They used to have many vegan options, but now they only have a grilled broccoli salad, lentil soup, beetroot risoto and a cake. The food there used to taste pretty good, but now it unfortunately doesn't anymore.
Read moreWe shared the broccoli salad (which was kind of raw and bland but otherwise edible) and I also had the risoto, but I couldn't finish it, because it simply didn't taste good. It was served with deep fried store-bought spring rolls and mayo, which I found odd at first, but sadly were the best part of the meal.
I can't remember the last time I couldn't finish a meal because of the taste, so that really says something.
I used to visit them more often, but now I probably won't anymore.
Pros: Good location, cute building, Has vegan options

Great number of choices - Edit
Not vegan only. Large number of vegan choices. Had a Caesar salad with ‘fake’ chicken (their description) followed by a blueberry cake. Both very good. Lots of seats inside and lovely patio outside. Not labelled from the street - go round to the back of the building.

There are many options. Some are better than others. Unfortunatelly, some of our dishes arrived cold.

Nice and cozy cafe. Would have liked some vegan options on the buffet but we just ordered food from the menu. Food was good and flavourful bur would have liked a little bit more food, maybe some bread or something to go with it.

Great place for vegans - Edit
Spargel is just 7 minutes walk from down square, about 5 from Kaubamaja. Vegan menu is great and everything tasted good. Lunch buffet also might have some vegan options. Like soup and salad. There is outside seating on front and behind the building and different style rooms inside. You could also take out and and eat in nearby park behind the building. Friendly staff and Great service!
