Ein bisschen enttäuschend

Es gab nur einen veganen Eintopf als ich da war und ich fand den nicht besonders lecker
Die Suppen meiner nicht veganen Freund*innen waren wohl ganz lecker aber meine war nicht der Knaller

Alright food

Variety of veggie soups with some toppings to choose from. Not a restaurant to go to if you're super hungry but alright for a snack when it's cold outside.
Soups taste alright, had better soups in my life.

Nett für Mittags

Als ich da war gab es zwei vegane Suppen, Thai-Kürbis und Bohnensuppe. Die Portionen sind für mittags ok, es gibt Brot dazu. Bedienung war sehr nett.

Pros: 2 vegane Suppen, frische Kräuter und Sonnenblumenkerne als Topping

Nice soups and salads

This small restaurant mostly offers one or two vegan and at leas a vegetarian soup.

Pros: Inexpensive, Friendly Staff

Cons: Self service, Serves meat

Usually five soups on offer in addition to salads and bagel sandwiches. At least one soup is vegetarian, sometimes vegan. All veg items are clearly marked. The restaurant is small and pleasant; it used to have unusual seating, but has normalized now. Its location is right next to a large Alnatura, a German natural foods chain (sort of like a Whole Foods in the US). If you're in transit through Mainz, reckon on about 15 minutes to walk there from the main train station. Very close to the pedestrian and tourist areas.

Pros: tasty, inexpensive, always has veg options, marked

Cons: limited menu, accompaniments to soup are hit-or-miss
