Great, but strange location and limited options

As one of the only two vegan restaurants in the El Nido area, we went to great lengths to dine at this place!

After a lot of searching, we determined that this place has relocated (as of May 2022) to the terminal inside EL Nido Airport (aka Lio Airport). This presents a major problem for vegans who are not flying with AirSwift, as one has to get through security to visit the establishment (they let us in, but may not let others).

The menu is very limited and has four vegan options (all delicious):
Siomai: Thin dough enclosing a savory meat filling, available fried or steamed and covered in optional chili sauce.
Buns: Slightly sweet steamed buns, covered in sesame seeds and stuffed with a meaty filling
Veggie Tinapay: A bun stuffed with green vegetables
Siopao: Thick, fluffy bun filled with a meat filling and topped with gravy.

They also offer a couple of drinks (Kalamansi Juice and Avocado juice), but these are unsweetened and as such and acquired taste.

There are no signs to indicate it is vegan, but the staff confirmed it is.

The staff did not seem very enthusiastic or knowledgeable about the food, which is a bit sad as the food is really good!

Pros: All vegan, Delicious Filipino/Chinese food, El Nido Airport is now one of the most vegan!

Cons: Hard to get to , Unenthusiastic staff, Limited menu

Soul nourishing!

Cute little restaurant with a small menu, but full of heart! I had the rice bowl with spinach, jackfruit, and mango tofu. It was sooo delicious, the jackfruit is the best I’ve ever had. Felt really nourishing and full of love. And the best part is when you buy a meal you get a token to give to a local to they can enjoy a free meal. Highly recommend!!

Pros: Delicious food, Clean, Good service

Healthy, affordable restaurant with a mission

This is a must go in El Nido.
Good vegan rice based food even if I personally found the bowl was too salty.
Buying one bowl also allow a local to get food at the restaurant 🙏

Cons: No wifi and no toilets

Delicious AND Altruistic

So happy places like this exist! Healthy food AND friendly staff, and when you buy a bowl another is donated to someone local and hungry. ❤️

Best vegan restaurant in all of El Nido!

We ordered 2 rice bowls at (150pp each), which included 2 choices of flavours/topping per bowl. We took the jackfruit in coconut, mung bean with moringua and eggplant, green beans and spinach, as well as the banana hearts and everything was absolutely delicious! We also ordered the tofu mango side (100pp) and it also amazing (probably the best dish tasting of all!).

Considering the price, quality, service and the buy 1 give 1 to a local program, this is hands down the best vegan eat in El Nido!

Pros: All vegan dinner, Extremely affordable , Delicious

Lucky find, best Filipino vegan in town!

I stumbled upon this restaurant which had just opened a couple of weeks ago on my last day in El Nido. How I wish I had known about this restaurant earlier! I ordered several dishes - all were tasty but the Banana Heart Curry and Jackfruit in coconut cream was my fave. Dare I say that this is the best Filipino vegan meal I have ever had! I love
the natural and sustainable bowls that are used to serve meals and the Buy One, Give One program- each meal purchased gets you a coupon to give to a person in need, a great way to help the community.

Great vegan food and a good cause!

The food here is really healthy and hearty! You don't feel guilty eating it. Also such good value. 150 pesos for a rice bowl with 2 dishes!

Also is an amazing cause. They give a free meal to a local with every meal bought!

Pros: Good cause, All vegan mains, Excellent food

Cons: Only a couple of tables!
