Delicious Vietnamese food - Edit
There are a lot of Vietnamese restaurants in Berlin with vegan food. I've eaten so much of it that I've gotten tired of it. But this restaurant blew me away. It is now my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Berlin. In addition to the food I also really loved the interior design. It was dark and cozy, with quirky and interesting decorations and photographs here and there. Very cool.
Read moreUpdate: I went again and the food was ok, the interior design was still very nice, but I did not like the unfitting pop music.

Cash Only! - Edit
Delicious fresh tasting food. We ordered a bunch of things then realized it’s cash only. It’s all worth it but fyi. Double check what you are ordering is vegan too, I saw egg in the descriptions but was puzzled by the allergen warnings that included fish.

My fav restaurant in Berlin - Edit
Sora is my fav restaurant in Berlin. I've tried many Vietnamese dishes not only in Germany but also in other countries and I'd still pick Sora as the best when it comes to Viet food. My husband and I visit it every time we're in Berlin! I always order the Udon Xao (number 29), he gets the My Quang (21) and we share a Cha La Lot (6) as an appetizer... all of them are so rich in flavor and every ingredient matches perfectly! 🥰 I couldn't recommend these dishes more 💚

Good but not fully vegetarian - Edit
The place itself is pretty, the staff very friendly and the food is good. HOWEVER, the place is not fully vegetarian as they advertise. Their Allergene markers list fish, other sea animals and shellfish as ingredients. Which dishes are fully vegan (or vegetarian for that matter) has to be carefully checked by checking out the tiny letters next to the name of the dish. So be aware when ordering.

Cons: Not fully vegetarian as stated, Animal derived ingredients labelled very small

Not fully vegetarian or vegan - Edit
Some of the dishes contain fish, or at least the allergy list has them. It's really hard to tell what's vegan as well.
Read moreI strongly recommend #21. It's a dish I'll be coming back for it over and over again. It's unique in the sea of Asian food of Berlin.

Lecker - Edit
Ich hatte die Udon Nudeln und sie waren sehr lecker. Das Personal war freundlich und die Preise fair. Ich wurde satt. Die Sitzgelegenheiten draußen waren ein kleines bisschen ungemütlich. Ansonsten alles super

Cozy space, many options - Edit
The menu as of December 2022 appears to be fully vegan, I've just sent an update to happycow. We ordered a coconut milk based soup and bao bun from the small plates menu and the pho from the large plates. The two soups were quite good, both flavorful. The bun was nice enough. There's lots of seating and the space is well decorated.

Not fully vegan!!! We went yesterday ans thought that it is fully vegan, but we got fried egg on our rice and the dessert taste like real milk. So better mention that you want vegan dishes.

Oh no really?? I'm sorry to hear that, I'll submit another update to happycow.

Just to confirm that it's not vegan, but dishes containing milk and eggs are marked on the menu. (Alarmingly, there is also a letter code for fish, but it doesn't seem to be used.)

It’s alright but not great - Edit
The dishes we had were all tasty, nothing to complain about, but we’ve eaten better in other Vietnamese restaurants in Berlin. Like more surprising, rich in taste and more sophisticated.

Lovely people and nice vegan faire - Edit
Really nice fully vegan place on Sonntagstrasse serving up all the Vietnamese classics with a homey family vibe. The prices are fair and the quality is high. The Kho To and My Quang are particularly nice. They have a terrace and are conveniently located near Ostkreuz.

Ok but not great for Vegan - Edit
It is more for vegetarian...they use Fischsauce, egg, honey and milch. Read carefully and ask exactly what is in!!! Taste and Price is ok, but no great food experience for me. It was winter when I was there and the room was not warm enough. Personel was friendly

They don't know what vegan means - Edit
Really nice food once we managed to order but it seemed that a lot of dishes had fish/crustaceans in it despite calling themselves a vegetarian restaurant. This made me super sceptical about what I was really eating so wouldn't go back again.

What an amazing time we had. Cannot recommend this enough. Coming back from Paris, it feels AMAZING to eat such wonderful food and to pay 25€ for two people. Everything was fresh and insanely delicious. You have to go there!

Traditional Vietnamese - Edit
Sora is a vegetarian place but be advised: Almost all dishes can be veganised. Have no anxiety, their menu has a great variety – such as salads, soups, noodles and rice, carefully prepared with much spice, and a rich taste, brought in to our table in haste by a friendly staff that have easy to laugh. We chose tofu with mushrooms and eggplant served hot in a clay pot (“Kho Ram”) and crispy spring rolls with wispy rice noodles (“Bun Nem”) – both quite nutritious and so delicious! The interior consists mainly of wood, and just as the food, it is authentic and traditional Vietnamese, probably made with no ease. This place is a hit and definitely worth a revisit.

great vegan options, lots of tofu - Edit
Really liked this place. The staff were cool and I liked the food a lot. I'm not into tofu so much and everything was with tofu, but you could ask for less tofu I guess and more veggies!

Amazing place! - Edit
We ended up there by accident and we are coming back very often. Every single dish on the menu can be made vegan and they are all amazing. We already tasted almost everything on their menu. I think all the soups are amazingly good, out of main dishes you must try tofu bags Dau Nam (54) and Com Thap Cam (56). The staff is very friendly, they always remember not to put straws in my drinks (after asking of course) - that is very important to me (let's go plastic free! :D ).
