daje! - Edit
Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch time visit here, where we shared the mezze maniche alla and carbonara and spaghetti cacio e pepe dishes, with some patatine fritte.
Read moreEach dish was fresh and so favourable, with the black pepper and truffle sauce simply divine. Very good chips too. Bill come to just short of £50.
Very friendly staff and lovely decor. Would love to visit again for an evening meal.

My Favourite restaurant - Edit
I've been into Sora Lella more times than I'd like to admit, but there's a reason - it's amazing!
Read moreAll the Traditional Italian pasta dishes you miss, are vegan! The first time I took my brother here he had to do a double take, as he couldn't believe that everything was vegan.
It's difficult to suggest what to eat on the menu as it's all great, but my favourite dishes are the Cacio e pepe, & the Gnocchi Salsiccia e Crema Tartufata. The cheesecake is also a great way to finish the meal.
I would highly recommend a visit to Sora Lella, you won't regret it!
Pros: Amazing flavours , Loads of variety , Friendly staff

I would give it 5 stars if not for the staff - Edit
Food is amazing, but when we went again the day after for non Alcoholic drinks and dessert, we were kicked out by the staff saying you have to order food and they took the menu from us, also it wasn't packed there were 3 other tables free. I won't be going again unfortunately.

Amazing food - Edit
I went here for the fourth time this year and the second time with my disabled friend. We accessed the restaurant using their portable ramp (a facility that few especially seem to have in Edinburgh) and the staff could not have been more helpful or accommodating. My friend could not access the toilet, but everything else was amazing and the place is tiny!

Delicious and creamy pasta - Edit
We went for dinner around 8:30 and ordered a gnocchi and a carbonara.
Read moreThey were both absolutely gorgeous. The gnocchi was the tomato based one tasted like a creamy mascarpone kind of sauce.
The carbonara was also amazing, wish we’d got some garlicky bread or something to dip the left over sauce in.
Would highly recommend!🍝
Pros: taste, price, location
Cons: would love it to get a bigger space

Easy 5 Star - Edit
Probably one of the easiest 5 stars I could give - a cosy little restaurant with spectacular food. I'm not usually one for Italian food but Sora Lella might have made me rethink that and changed my mind. I had the Spaghetti Aglio Olio and it blew me away. Highly recommend if you're in Edinburgh.

Cosy and delicious - Edit
Myself and my partner went here for lunch and it was absolutely amazing! It has a lovely little cosy atmosphere and The food was so tasty. As someone with a dairy allergy, having the option to have anything on the menu was a breath of fresh air. It's so hard to find Italian food I can eat and enjoy and this is my new favourite place

Excellent Italian food - Edit
Firstly - you need to book! It’s a very popular restaurant, we struck lucky and got in but they had to turn away several customers while we were there.
Read moreOnce we started eating we realised why it’s so popular- the food is to die for. My carbonara is the first one I’ve had since being vegan and it was delicious. My partner had the penne arabiata, he loved it and I enjoyed the fork full he allowed me to taste. Staff are lovely too.
Pros: The food!, The staff
Cons: Absolutely nothing to dislike

We loved this place so much! The food was fantastic, amazing garlic focaccia and delicious penne arrabiata and spaghetti del olio - finished off with tiramisu and affogato. Everything we tried was divine and the service was great. Do not miss this place if you’re a vegan coming to Edinburgh.

Delicious pasta, I has spaghetti with black pepper and truffle creamy sauce and a very reasonably priced glass of wine. Good sized portions and a warm atmosphere. Small establishment so booking is sensible.

Great mains, didn't enjoy the pudding - Edit
Fantastic resturant, delicious food with such a good selection of pastas and pizzas. The only thing was I didn't enjoy the pudding - found it pretty bland, and it was pretty expensive for what it was, if it hadn't been for that then I'd have given 5 stars.

Really great food but expensive - Edit
Managed to get a seat without a reservation but you may need to book.
Read moreWe had the Supplì Romani as a starter that was crispy, tomato(y) and paired really well with the mayo supplied.
For mains we tried the Ortolana pizza which if you like garlic is a must! Garlic base with cheesy, sausage and veg topping. This was really good.
We also had the Mezze Maniche alla Zozzona. The pasta was a little too al dente for my liking but the sauce was amazing.
It isn’t the cheapest place you will find but it is well worth a visit

Amazing - Edit
We had the fried bolognese as a starter, delicious! Our pizza with garlic base, although on the greasier side, was absolutely amazing. No vegan cheese which sticks to the gum, yum!
