My chocolate dealer - Edit
Every time I visit I go straight to the chocolate stand and grab all kinds of Hu kitchen chocolate. It's the only store I know outside of the US that carries those!

Money’s too tight to mention - Edit
Great shop, literally a dream for any vegan or ethically conscious individual. Eye watering prices though - I had to bite my lips at the cost of some items.

Unfortunately Edinburgh is a pretty expensive place to be. Lovely city though. X x

The place to go for nooch and chocolate. - Edit
I usually get my nutritional yeast and chocolate in Real Foods, but always end up buying other stuff too. They carry a great selection of different vegan products, not just food, it's a great shop for vegans.

Keeping it real - Edit
I went to look for Candy Kittens, they didn't have them at the moment but the staff told me where I could possibly find them. Great selection and friendly staff even though I didn't find what I wanted this time.

Great - Edit
Great selection, lots of good wholefoods, teas, shampoos, a little pricey but not unreasonable.

More than just food - Edit
I love Real Foods. They have such a great selection of vegetarian and vegan foods plus loads of cruelty free cleaning products and toiletries. I go in for a couple of things and end up spending a fortune. The bread is fabulous and the fruit and veg are always fresh.

Lots of stuff in a small place - Edit
This shop is labyrinthine: Using some dimensional gates to make the inside larger than the outside, they managed to cram in an amazing amount of shelves and aisles. I'm not sure whether I've seen it all after my second visit, and finding the exit might not always be straightforward.

Pros: Great shop with many vegan items
Cons: Confusingly contorted

Excellent! - Edit
Without a doubt THE place to buy healthy, organic, high-quality food (and natural household/domestic & toiletry products) in Edinburgh. Pricey but worth it. Very unique place, good atmosphere. Highly recommended! :)

Sell out of date food - Edit
Went to this shop, and yes a good selection of produce although expensive. Bought something, and realized it had gone past it's date 2 days before. I sent an email to the store, who answered it was completely within their right (sell by vs. Best before), there is no specification on this date which of the 2 it is. But in any case way overpriced for out of date food. Won't go back sadly...

Fantastic - Edit
I mostly go to Real Foods' other branch in Broughton Street, but I do come here occasionally too. They have a great range of vegan produce, although I think they are slightly smaller than their other branch. Definitely worth a visit!
