The food here was great. It is one of 2 vegan restaurants in SM. Everything was delicious. Had the nachos- highly recommend! Best vegan nachos in SM in my opinion. I also had the cauliflower fish tacos and they were very good. My husband ordered the Mac and cheese, it was also good- smaller portion though. Blueberry Kombucha was delicious as well. The atmosphere of this place is awesome/ open and bright

Delicious Food, Great Atmosphere - Edit
Light and spacious restaurant above upscale shopping center on San Antonio. They have eight or nine tables. Most seat four, a couple could seat a big family or group. In addition to the tables they have a spacious lounge area with comfy chairs and books. It shares a space (or maybe they’re connected) with a shop called Simbiosis that sells mushrooms and spices.
Read moreThe food is delicious! I had the Yellow Solar mock tail (they have a mock tail, or cocktail if you prefer, for each of the chakras). I don’t know how the chef made the turmeric foam that tops it, but it was heavenly! And I don’t like turmeric. I could have eaten just a bowl of that- it was like whipped cream but lighter.
I had the ceviche, which was also delicious with fresh chips. That really would have been enough. I should’ve listened to the previous reviewer who ordered too much. But I also ordered the Mediterranean plate, which on its own would be great to share. I had a little taste of each item, and everything was full of flavor. Not only was it delicious but it was beautifully presented. I ended up having it wrapped to go.
My husband had the nachos. He’s not vegan but he said it was very good and ate the whole thing.
We ordered the cheesecake and chocolate cake to-go. Both of these were delicious, but the cheesecake was definitely the better of the two.

This place is a short walk from the main square. The building houses different shops, including a small, boutique grocery shop with items such as vegan meats, tofu, hummus and more. Soltribe is located upstairs. The vibe is bohemian. I ordered the Mediterranean Plate and it was amazing. It included falafel, vegan tzatziki, tabouli, a variety of olives, hummus, cucumber slices and peppers. It was perfection but I couldn’t finish it all.. I took the leftovers home and shared them with my husband later that night.

Amazing food. Loved the truffle mac (the mushroom on top is so so good) and the polenta dish. I came in hungry and still was able to finish both dishes. Gorgeous place with great books on the shelves to peruse. Found two cool books that I can’t put down!

Sadly, I wasn’t hungry enough to sample more than the ceviche and a blue mocktail, but the oyster mushroom ceviche was incredible. I’ll be trying to recreate this in my own kitchen. The restaurant is upstairs. It’s confusing because it looks like there’s outdoor seating out front but that space isn’t used, so it gives a sad, closed vibe from the street. The restaurant needs to do something to improve this look and be a little more inviting. Mocktail was mostly a giant blue icecube. Would definitely return and try more items if I’d had more time in SMA.

Holy wow - this was the first place I ate in SMA and it set the bar pretty high for the rest of the trip! I had the nachos and cauliflower ("fish") tacos and everything was superb. The service was super friendly and when I overheard someone else ordering the cheesecake, I had to try it - and I was so glad I did! Don't miss this spot!

They just added half portions -which are still quite generous given their standard is good for sharing. They have nice specials and packages for a fair price. And their sourcing is AMAZING -organic, ethical, and local. Great for groups, singles, and even kid-friendly. And they close late pm! (Late for a small town, that is). I love it!

I wanted to try everything on this menu. Especially the drinks and desserts! I love that they have a drink for each chakra. 💛 They were also very kind because I was in right before they closed, but they still served us with grace. I got the Italian chopped salad and my friend got the kale Caesar. I also got the solar (yellow) drink and it was SO GOOD (and beautiful). The desserts were something else though… saffron creme brûlée- a rare treat for a vegan, and a plain cheesecake. Brilliant food all around.

We got the empanadas and the nachos. Both were delicious, but just a bit pricier than we would have liked them to be. Would have liked to have tried one of the “fish” tacos, but the menus says they come in a set of 3. Not sure if you could order just one, we didn’t ask. Lots of non-Mexican food on the menu as well if you are interested in that.

Husband and I dined here, had a delicious meal and organic wine. The owner was friendly and explained everything they are doing there, and the staff was friendly and attentive. A really unique place with the mushrooms! The empanadas were amazing as was the truffle Mac and cheese. We plan to go again during our visit.

We ate at Soltribe 1/23. It is upstairs and is a very nice restaurant. The staff are super nice and friendly. They have a lot of mushrooms and a small refrigerated space where they sell them. The food is not mexican, but more trendy. It is organic and really excellent! It is a bit pricy, but worth the extra $$. I had the beetsteak dish and it was excellent.
