Best bakery for vegans

Many vegan options to choose between. The best thing is that they can make vegan cakes (for instance for a birthday) with pretty short notice and a very good price

Pros: Cozy, Different vegan options, Nice staff

Cons: Often crowded

Few vegan options left at end of the day

I came quite late in the day, around 5 pm, and there were only two vegan options left, the “biskvier”. Both were delicious but I especially recommend the banana one (yellow on the picture not so surprisingly). I’ll come back again and if there’s more options I’ll most likely give them a higher rating! Cosy place with lots of outdoor seating.

Highly recommend

Since the vegan fika options in Stockholm is usually sparse and honestly quite bad I was really happy to fins Söderbergs. The quality, taste and consistency is wonderful!!

Several vegan options for fika, and they also had some options for lunch such as sandwich and soup. Pretty good coffee though a bit weak. Have in mind that the bakery is small and that there is no indoor seating. When the weather allows you can sit in the green backyard, otherwise you'll have to take away. I will absolutely come back!

Pros: Clearly marked vegan options

Cons: No indoor seatings

awesome vegan doughnuts (every wednesday)

Finally I’ve found a place in Stockholm that makes vegan doughnuts! I am so happy. Every wednesday they make vegan doughnuts - a new flavor/filling every week. They also make a handful of other vegan sweets and i’m excited to try them all. One thing that is good to know is that there is no place to sit inside, so in the winter months it is more of a take-away place. There are tables outside in a nice little green area, so in the warmer months it’s a nice place to hang out and have a fika. I hope to see even more vegan options in the future.

Wednesday doughnuts

I really enjoy the selection here. The Wednesday doughnuts are amazing. The staff is super nice and always try’s to point you in the right direction. It is a little expensive, but very worth it.

My one con is that for the price I wish their staff was better able to answer if something has gelatin in it or not. I’ve ended up being served a few things that ended up not being vegetarian.

Soon-to-be legendary!

While we wait and see what Green Praline's new location has to offer, Söderbergs must be one of the best bakeries in Sweden, if not the very best one. A number of vegan items (buns, biskvi) are seemingly always on offer, while the more sophisticated mousse cakes change every now and them. And I gotta tell ya, they're phenomenal! Prices might be a tad expensive, but such lovely flavours are worth every krona. The doughnuts on Wednesdays are also gorgeous, truly something to look forward to, especially now that the weather is at its dullest. In addition, staff are kind and helpful, so there's no reason not to make this a compulsory visit when in Stockholm, in my humble opinion. When the pandemic is over, and I don't feel compelled to order and leave straightaway, I'll make more of an effort to discover their savoury items, though I suspect they don't abound... yet.
