Other review was either misinformed or things have changed here. Only small appetizers are able to be vegan, no soba or tempura options.

GREAT soba restaurant - right in heart of Nagano - Edit
Brilliant restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff. We asked if the tempura batter was vegan, and the chef made us an egg-free batter without us even asking. Amazing tempura dishes. Authentic soba (dish of Nagano). Literally across the road from Nagano Station.
