Great korean style food - Edit
Great korean style food. We had the soybean paste soup and the scorched rice and both were delicious. Also the side dishes tasted very good. This place is perfect for having lunch after visiting gamcheon culture village, because it's easy to go from there by bus. The owner was really nice and speaks very good english. They also sell some vegan products like cookies and ramen.

Best Meal I’ve had in Korea - Edit
By far the best meal I’ve had in Korea! The rice wrapped in lotus leaf was delicious, along side a soup, sweet potato pancake, fake meat and other side dishes. The vegetables were fresh and well seasoned. Delighted to be able to eat vegan traditional Korean food.
Read moreThe restaurant itself is fairly small with four tables. It’s an 8 minute walk from the nearest subway station. Closed on Wednesday and Sunday.

Super yummy vegan Korean food. - Edit
I had the soft tofu stew and it was so yummy, as were all the side dishes. I love vegan options in Korea that still give you a chance to try the flavours of Korean cuisine - Soban Vegan is the perfect place for that.

Amazing Food - Edit
The food was amazing, my meat-eater friends loved it as well, specially the soy chicken.

The restaurant is quite small, only 4 tables, and locals also ate there, so better try to go early.

THE vegan restaurant to visit in Busan - Edit
I visit Soban every time I'm in Busan, sometimes more than once. This wonderful woman makes amazing traditional Korean stews and side dishes, including lots of varying seasonal veggies and mushrooms, and excellent use of vegan meats. She is passionate about the animals and about cooking, and it shows in every way.
Read moreDon't hesitate for a moment about how it's somewhat far out west on the subway from the tourist areas of Busan -- give Soban a visit!

Mouthwatering experience with an amazing atmosphere - Edit
Food was so tasty and it was plenty. Prepare to share if you want to explore the menu! The place is rather small but it is worth the wait. Starters with multiple small plates were all fantastic and the fried fake chicken was just delicious. We were lucky to meet another super friendly vegan which made the dinner unforgettable.

Authentic Korean Food! - Edit
We were so happy to find this cute place! The owner is very nice and dedicated. But most importantly, the food was great! Since vegan places are often westernized, the variety of authentic Korean dishes was outstanding. If I had to choose, my favorite one would be the tofu stew. However, I can fully recommend the place and to try as much as possible!

Spirit of Traditional Korean Cuisine - Edit
Having traveling from the northern tip to the southern tip of South Korea, the dishes at Soban Vegan reaffirms why traditional Korean cuisines are backed by one of the longest preserved food culture around the world. Embodied with the spirit of vegan movement, you will find the dishes here nothing much different from Korean cuisine that are often unsuitable for vegans - one may even claim that the food here are much better than the meat versions.
Read moreWith a motherly touch from the store owner, the gastronomical food would simply blow your mind away despite how simple the dishes on the menu are - nothing out of the ordinary yet filled with a depth of wealth on knowledge of Korean cuisines.
Highly recommend to try the stews and fried chicken - guarantees the best around the town!

A small place in a residential area - but the food was amazing!!! Loved every bit of it! We have tofu jigae, Doenjang Jigae and Soy chicken. The owner was very friendly and she can speak English well. Overall the food tasted homely. We only wished the portions were bigger.

I am glad that I took the time to come to this place. I saw the good reviews and just wanted to give it a try. It’s been one of the best I have tried in Busan so far. The price is good, it tasted like home-cooked and I got extra rice and side dishes for free. The two owners were really nice and friendly. I will surely return here!

Excellent food and service! - Edit
If you're vegan in Korea you know about Loving Hut! I'm certain that this must be one of its franchises, though each franchise is owned by individuals. This menu is different though (love the scorched rice!) with some of the great heavy hitters of other establishments (soy chicken!). I highly recommend and the owner is so wonderful and welcoming!

Everyone must go here!!! - Edit
This all vegan restaurant is a rare find in Korea, and a deeply satisfying one. After days of questioning if I can actually eat anything, low and behold, this beautiful place that does not sacrifice Korean cuisine for veganism. Many vegan places here serve American style, but here is authentic, with Korean side dishes and main plates. Everything I had was so delicious and filling— especially the soy chicken which had a texture like no other and dipped in the sweet and sour sauce was perfection.

Pros: Fully vegan , Delicious menu and authentic dishes, Very friendly staff

The first thing I did when I got to busan was finding this restaurant. They were very welcoming and nice. I got the spicy tofu stew and mushrooms. My friend got the veggies in sweet and sour sauce which is cooked with apples so it tasted like apple pie. Would definitely come back again.

My new favorite vegan spot! - Edit
There aren't many strictly vegan restaurants in western Busan, so I was ecstastic to find this place 10 minutes from me. The owner is so kind and friendly. She speaks great english and explains the food very well. The portions are hearty and delicious and there are groceries you can buy too. The spot is very cozy, charming and feels like real home. I'll be back many times.

Delicious authentic Korean food. - Edit
This may have been my favorite meal since moving to Korea a few months ago. I got the bean sprout set which was amazing! It came with rice, soup, and alll the sides dishes. I’m the type of person who orders the thing on the menu I’ve never heard of, so I also got a dish that translated to Acorn on the menu. I wasn’t sure if I should expect squash or some kind of nut. It was neither, but whatever it was, it was so good and I ate it all. The woman who ran the place was so sweet and accommodating. I will definitely eat here again the next time I visit Busan.
