Whole-Food Plant-Based Traditional Bapsang Lunch & Fusion Dinner - Edit
Fully vegan eatery with several allium-free options available. They serve traditional Korean bapsang-style cuisine for lunch, and Western-Korean fusion dishes such as pasta for dinner, all of which are whole-food plant-based without processed mock meats or substitutes. They also prioritise using organic, pesticide-free, and domestically-grown ingredients. The items I ordered were all fresh, flavourful, and filling! Staff members were also lovely, giving us hot yuja citron tea on the house when they saw that my companion was cold and tired, and sending me a kind message on social media after I visited. Would highly recommend visiting (but please take note of their selected opening days and hours)! Near Jung-Ang Metro Station, also within walking distance from the 40-Step Culture & Tourism Theme Street, Trick Eye Museum, Busan Tower at Yongdusan Park, etc.

Seasonal lunch plate made with love - Edit
Fine meal, there are 2 lunch options and for dinner 5 options. There’s also some smaller plates as well. I did the lunch, we ordered 2 lunch options one was with brown rice and seaweed and the other was with eggplant. It was really delicious.

Gnocchi was favoriet.

Délicieux restaurant vegan à Busan. Les plats sont savoureux, l'accueil chaleureux et le décor apaisant ! Attention, il faut penser à réserver car il n'y a pas beaucoup de tables !

The nicest people - Edit
They weren't open when I came by on a rainy Saturday but they let us in anyway and served the set lunch meal. The meal is a basic Korean lunchbox made vegan and full of pungent, sour, savory, fermented goodness. The mushrooms are a treat.

In love with this food! - Edit
We had dinner at Obuthan. We saw it has a lot of good reviews, but were a bit unsure about the menu as it didn't seem very korean. They use local and seasonal ingredients and all my doubts went away after starting to taste the food. We ordered the korean style pasta with seaweed and the potato gnocchi with spinach sauce. It was delicious!! I couldn't get enough of that spinach sauce.
Read moreThe space is very calm and pleasant and the staff polite and kind.
Give it a try if you can.
Edit: I forgot to mention the fried rice cakes, which we ordered to start the meal. Very tasty! Cooked with salt, pepper, garlic, I believe. Would order again.

Lovely place with kind people - Edit
I had lunch at this restaurant! They are according to people usually super booked, but because I was on my own I could have lunch just fine. The staff treats you very well! The lady even let me try the special herb beforehand, so I could decide which menu to get. The lunch menu was a seasonal menu, so it might change in summer. But I really liked the tofu and side dishes!

Lovely - Edit
Very kind owners, chill atmosphere with nice music and wine. The pasta was delicious, my favourite was the Korean style pasta (garlic yummm). Also the fried vegetables tasted very fresh and nutritious. For me personally it lacked a bit of salt but my boyfriend thought it was perfect the way it was. Bit on the pricey side (16.000 - 18.000 won per dish), but worth it after we saw how much love went into every single meal.

We had both the fried vegetables and the grilled cauliflower with rice cakes. Especially the cauliflower with the rice cakes was super delicious! It was a bit pricy but I can still highly recommend it.

Nice atmosphere - Edit
The restaurant had a calm vibe that I really appreciated, and the staff was lovely. Differently from the other all vegan places in Busan, it's not associated to the Supreme Master, and it offers alcohol, including craft beers. My favorite was the fried rice cake.

A bit hard to find but worth the search - Edit
Thanks to an elderly Korean gentleman, I was able to find this little gem - and I am glad he helped. Very welcoming place, nice English speaking service that explains the menu and ingredients well, good food and delicious barley water. It’s a bit on the pricier side, but it’s money well spent.
