Good Ice Cream

We were excited to see an all vegan ice cream spot, but a little disappointed in the range of flavours - besides two of them (passion fruit and Thai tea), they overlapped with the flavours we are usually able to get in other places (pistachio, coconut, chocolate, matcha, salted caramel).

We each got a double cup, I had chocolate and salted caramel and my partner had Thai tea and coconut. The chocolate was nice but not rich. The salted caramel was sensational, probably the best salted caramel ice cream I've ever had, with great flavour and balance. The Thai tea tasted like tea, but we weren't sure where the Thai element came from. The coconut was fine, but a bit unexciting (our fault for choosing it).

Generally, the texture was nice and creamy, but we each had a couple of hard, icy spots in our scoops.

There's some indoor seating, and quite an extensive menu with milkshakes, other drinks, and affogato. Service was fast and straightforward.

Great place with amazing options

I tried the Thai ice tea ice cream and it was so good. Didn’t like the combination with coffee but that’s my personal preference and my mistake to order it that way.

Closest thing to non-vegan ice cream I’ve ever tasted

I have had a lot, and I mean a LOT of different brands of vegan ice cream in the US and Hong Kong, all around the world. Although expensive, SO COCO is the closest thing I’ve ever tasted to ice cream made with cow’s milk. I don’t think I’d be able to tell the difference if I didn’t know it was vegan. It’s creamy and delicious— highly recommend!

Pros: Tastes just like cow’s milk ice cream

Cons: Expensive

Coconut milkshakes

The coconut milkshakes are okay. If you like coconut, you’d likely enjoy it and find it refreshing. It was nice to try but not good enough that we’d go back. A bit pricey!

Surprisingly light but rich in flavour!

It doesn’t taste exactly like soft serve ice cream, and is a tad bit grainy - but it’s not the ice! It’s the coconut shreds! I had the black sesame premium cone and it was so rich and aromatic. Was topped with sesame crunch popcorn! The charcoal cone was also insanely thin and crunchy, and not too sweet at all.

Overall, the dessert didn’t feel heavy like a regular ice cream cone. I had it in the late afternoon and it didn’t stuff me till dinner the way I feared it would! Would definitely come back to try the plain flavour and other toppings. A must try for the vegan-curious in HK.

Loved their ice cream

I had a soft serve sesame flavoured ice cream and really liked it. It looks cool, they’ve got black waffle cones and the sesame flavour is also black. The texture is creamy and perfect, made from coconut milk.
It‘s right next to the bottom of the midlevel escalators and not far from the IFC mall it’s MTR station.
The Central market is a pretty and shaded area with seating areas to enjoy your treat, but it might be busy!
