Loads of choice, big tasty portions - Edit
Extensive vegan menu that we were offered on arrival. I had the cauliflower parmo which was delicious. Was quite hard to choose between lots of interesting options. Really big portions. Friendly staff.

It's a greene king & honestly the food was great.
Pros: Lots of options , Very fair priced & Big Portions, Tasty pub grub !

Lovely surprise on our day trip to Ripon - a pub with lots of vegan options! Vegan menu available (just ask). I had banana blossom vish, chips & mushy peas. Too fully for pudding unfortunately. Staff were lovely too, attentive and approachable.

I've eaten at So! Bar a couple of times, once at Ripon and once at Knaresborough. Both times the food was lovely and the staff were really nice and friendly! There is a separate vegan menu, so lots of options to choose from, with quite a wide variety of different flavours. Would definitely recommend!!

Amazing vegan menu - Edit
Ordered the Nacho Libre burger, Burrito, Korean style mushrooms and a flatbread toaster. All the dishes were amazing, and was great to have a separate vegan menu with over 20 different options on! Top marks!

I had the Nacho Libre burger and it was delicious! It was obvious some thought had been put into the construction of the burger. I had lunch here with an omnivore friend and it was great that we could both order food we enjoyed.

Only just discovered today (via HC) that this place caters for vegans. Whilst it's good to have a separate vegan menu it's not so good that it's not displayed and that the waiter has to look for it in a drawer!
Read moreI had the BHP wrap and although it was impossible to tell what it tasted of because there were so many ingredients it was very tasty indeed. I hadn't realized it came with chips so it was very filling and excellent value at only £8.95. I'd have liked more than a teaspoon of the advertised crisp cabbage salad but the chips were delicious!
There were other things I could have chosen but many of them I wouldn't have been able to eat because of the emphasis on hot spices.
Lovely old building.
I trust that when we go back, as we certainly will, the toilet seat will have been fixed and the toilet paper topped up.

I've been eating in So! Bar for years, I'm so pleased that they've released a separate vegan menu as there's now so much more choice!
Read moreI can recommend the Greek Bubble and Squeak, really nice flavours for a hot day. They also have an incredible selection of gins!
There's not much choice in Ripon unless ypu phone ahead, so it's nice to be able to walk in somewhere and know that you'll be catered for!

Popped in yesterday while in Ripon for the day and by a stroke of luck they had launched anew vegan menu the day before. Cannot recommend highly enough the choice is really different and extensive. There are great healthy option but some fab trashy food the bombay burrito is to die for. really recommend. The guys are really helpful and service was great. the beer garden was great as well. will defo return
