Has a couple of vegan burger options which are really tasty. We tried the spicy veggie and the normal veggie options and they were really good. Good chips too.

Big portions - Edit
Really nice place with a tasty menu. The portions are enormous. I’ve had bun baos with tofu and a salad and couldn’t eat everything, had to take it away.

Two vegan burg options - Edit
Small restaurant on the Main Street. Has a tempeh burger and bean burger - both can be made vegan without the Mayo and cheese.
Read moreWent for the bean burger and chips which were tasty. Had a share basket of sweet potato and regular chips between two - which was huge!

Beste Burger in Amed - Edit

Excellent Bao - Edit
A small (foreign-owned?) burger place off the main road with all the hotels, STC had a few vegan comfort options.
Read moreI ordered the classic veggie burger (black bean, potatoes, rice), tofu bao, side salad, and pitcher of water. The tofu bao was by far the best—crisp tofu, soft sweet bun, and sweet and savory sauce.
The burger was ok—the patty was dense and filling but not so crisp and flavorful. I appreciated the bean over soy protein though. The salad with balsamic also ok. I was able to fill 1 liter of water bottles with the pitcher and still have some for the restaurant. The fries are vegan too and looked good.
Pros: Excellent bao, Nice atmosphere and music
Cons: Few vegan options

difficult to eat - Edit
Aussie burger with a veggie patty; the patty was quite soft, plus with their choice of bun, everything was disintegrating with juices running down my fingers so I had to scarf this one down quick.
Read moreI expected more feta... I couldn't really taste it, and it looked like just a few sprinkles. Also it tasted a bit under-seasoned, while could have been mitigated with a more generous serving of feta.
Chips are okay, also under-seasoned, but fried well. The garlic dressing is a bit thin, but ok.
It's not that it tasted bad or anything, but it was really not satisfying.
Salt + textural issue.
Not sure if I will come back to this. Maybe if someone posts a photo of the chili, I might try that one... 😅

Very good fries, great smoothies - Edit
Food is very good, especially the fries and the chai banana coconut milk shake. Burgers (adapted to be vegan) are ok. The bao is tasty as well, but a little overloaded without a clear concept (is it dessert? Is it meant to be spicy? Why are there carrots??) I don't get what it is with the pickles they seem to be proud of. They use local ingredients and do care. Give it a try!

A great option in Amed. - Edit
This place surprised me by how vegan friendly it is. We tried the pumpkin salad, and added a veggie burger patty, one Indoburger with tempe, and the tofu bao buns. The buns definitely stand out as the best ! Next time I would just order that. The salad was tasty and a large portion. The burger was ok...it didn't have a lot of flavour, and could used more Rendang sauce for sure because it was a little like just eating tempe in bread with some cabbage. I wasn't impressed with the veggie patty but I prefer a more burger like patty. It did seem housemade with black beans and sweet potato.

OK vegan burgers and salad - Edit
The burgers were pretty good and the sallad was decent. The place is very close to the road and it can get a bit noisy. Most of the burgers seemed to be able to make vegan. Unfortunately they couldn't make either the dahl or the bao buns when we were there.

My favorite restaurant in Amed! - Edit
Even though this restaurant is not vegan or vegetarian I really fell in love with it. The quality of the food is outstanding, it's all so tasty and delicious. They are specialized in burgers. For vegans you can have the veggie burger (made of beans, red rice and sweet potatoes) or the tempeh burger and then ask the staff to leave cheese and other non-vegan ingredients out. They also have a wonderful Indian dahl with chapati bread and great salads, not to mention the juices. And the chips, I can only say 'Wow'. I loved every single thing I had here. Prices are average, more expensive than the typical warung but oh so worth it! Highly recommended!
Read morePros: Great quality, Amazing chips, Friendly and efficient staff
Cons: Not fully vegan!
