Truffle mushroom vegan

I had the truffle mushroom pizza. Pesto creamy dip and the tiramisu (raspberry with no coffee).
All were vegan options.
All 10/10. Can’t wait to go again.

Perfect

I must go to slowrise at least once a month, it’s my go to for special occasions and casual bites to eat. The food and service is always amazing with new specials each month, and the same can be said for their takeaway window. If you’re in Lincoln I urge you to ditch the regular pizza express / zizi visit and try this!

Pros: Options, Price, Stellar staff

Cons: None

Great pizza, good choice and wonderful service

I had the Smoky pizza (vegan version, obviously), some garlic aoili and fragola lemonade. The pizza was of really good quality, with a flavoursome, umami mix of fake meat and cheese and sun-dried tomatoes. The lemonade was refreshing, colourful and unusual. Service could not have been any friendlier, and was quite fast too.

The place has a relaxed ambience and was pretty lively on a warm Thursday evening in summer. There is a good choice of vegan pizzas, and prices seem very reasonable.

Pros: Great pizza, Lovely service, Good value

Cons: Not 100% vegan

Best pizza in the area

Everything is either vegan or veggie with a vegan version. Been here quite a few times and never been disappointed, even my non-vegan friends love it

Brilliant food and welcoming staff

The staff, especially our server and hostess, Becca, were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The menu was full of choices, as was the drinks menu. We had the Truffle Mushroom and Garlic Mushroom pizzas, and the aranchi and buratta salad as sides. Disclaimer: my husband does not like pizza but he says he loves me so he agreed to visit Slow Rise after we'd been in Lincoln for the day. He really, really enjoyed the pizza and, if we lived nearer, agreed that we'd be back in a shot! The portions were large so despite the temptation, I was good and didn't have dessert (although I did look longingly at the tirimisu!!) as I had to have a doggy-bag for half of my pie. Whilst hubby had tap water, I had an elderflower and cucumber nojito, which was filled with mint, ice, lime and, of course, cucumber (I didn't see the elderflower, but could taste it), all of which was extremely refreshing. Thank you for a lovely meal at the end of a very long day x

Pros: Everything

Cons: The map we used to find it was useless, but that's, on us, not Slow Rise!

Awesome

Got the vegan special pizza (Stilton, broccoli, fig) and it was delicious, along with a lovely apple mocktail.

Must visit

Booked specially as we were revisiting Lincoln and remembered how amazing everything was. We were not disappointed! The best pizza outside of Italy (the Pumpkin special was amazing - the flavours were so perfectly balanced), the mojitis are the best and the mocha tiramasu was not to miss! Most things can be made vegan and the staff are super friendly!

Pros: Food, Staff, Price

Cons: Non

My favourite ever vegan pizza

I’ve had many good vegan pizzas in my time (e.g. purezza) but I had my favourite ever here. Blue cheese, walnuts, tender stem brocolli, figs, lemon zest….wow!!

Great pizzas !!

Visited Slow Rose for the first time today, the selection of pizzas and sides for vegans was great - those which can be veganised were clearly labelled VEO, and all of the dips were already vegan. I had the smokey pizza which was so good, and shared the pesto and the garlic strips as sides. Worth a visit!

Pros: Great flavour , Majority of the menu had a vegan option available

Couldn’t fault!

Delicious fresh pizzas, the arancini were spot on and the homemade tiramisu was beautifully light

Vegan tiramisu! 😍

This is an amazing little place. everything on the menu is vegetarian and can be made vegan.
The pizza was really good and the tiramisu was amazing!
Seating is very limited so book a table if you can, or you can borrow a picnic blanket and sit out on the little micro park in the front, which is a cute touch.
Will definitely be returning!

Very tasty pizza’s and tiramisu

A friend and I ordered 3 different pizzas to share, all were very good. The truffle mushroom was my favourite! The Smokey pizza was a very good second. Also the tiramisu is as very yummy!

Run don’t walk !

Absolutely amazing, all veggie and vegan. The vegan alternatives are incredible. They currently have vegan burrata, it is hands down the best vegan cheese I’ve tried !

Amazing

One of the best pizzas I've ever had, and I've eaten a lot. Not the biggest range, but I can highly recommend the pine nuts with balsamic.

Fantastic pizzas

These are proper Italian style, limited but incredible toppings, delicious pizzas. Simply the best pizza we've had in Lincoln. The restaurant is now open too, handily located just off the High Street before the Straight leading to the famous Steep Hill. We've so far been lazy and just had delivery but intend to visit soon!

Pros: All pizzas can be made vegan, It's 100% vegetarian and vegan , The vegan tiramisu is better than my own.

Cons: It isn't open every day!

It is. We don't have many places in Lincoln but Slow Rise is some of the best pizza we've had anywhere! And the tirimisu's are just incredible.

Super-indulgent pizza & tiramisu

Ordered from the takeout window and had the truffle mushroom pizza with vegan cheese, and the biscoff tiramisu. They were both delicious, and the portions were big - I struggled to finish them, which is saying something for me…

Great pizza base and all their pizzas can be vegan

My partner and I found this great place randomly. We had a take away pizza. The base is fantastic and reminded me Italy. Staff super friendly. They provide you a blanket to lay down in the grass if you want in front of their place. They also have on Saturday a 20 percent discount in all pizzas from 12:00 to 3:00.

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Amazing pizza base, They offer you a blanket to lay down in the grass

Cons: Only take away , The location is not easily visible, easily missed
