Accommodating

There are a handful of vegetarian menu items but no labelled vegan options in this diner-style cafe. I was pleasantly surprised when I asked for no eggs with the Vegetarian Breakfast (your standard English breakfast including hash browns, beans, vegetarian sausage) and the waitress asked if I was vegan - she then kindly offered to also omit the butter from the toast and to have the mushrooms cooked in oil instead of butter. would love them to add at least one menu item that's vegan without modification.

Pros: Veg options, including a Vegetarian Breakfast, Familiar with veganism & happy to accommodate

Cons: No as-is vegan breakfast menu items, Items not marked as vegetarian or vegan on menu, Paper napkins

a fry-up breakfast

Went here for a vegan breakfast fry-up. They couldn't confirm if their veggie sausages were vegan but they gave me extra hash browns and beans instead. They took extra care to give me toast with no butter already spread on it, and were very friendly and accommodating.

Very accommodating

Visited here during an off-season midweek break, and was pleased to find somewhere open that served good veggie breakfasts! We explained our dietary requirements and the staff were great. Non-dairy spread, substituted eggs for extra sausages and hash browns, the lot! Only problem was they didn't serve soy milk. I'd have liked a brew with my breakfast.

Pros: Accommodating and flexible, vegan sausages , non-dairy spread

Cons: no non-dairy milk
