Underwhelming - Edit
After reading so many positive reviews, I Was looking forward to visiting here but sadly it was underwhelming. We visited for breakfast but there weren't any vegan options and no modifications could be made to any dishes, as stated on the menu. Instead we just got a apple and elderflower slice and raspberry brownie, which were average. We also got a soya latte each and while mine was ok, my wife's latte had split. Shame as the staff were friendly and even refunded the split latte from the bill. Probably a place to visit for lunch. Not sure if I'd return.

Good vegan options with dedicated section on menu. - Edit
The cafe has a small section of vegetarian / vegan food and some main menu items can be adapted too as they stock vegan cheese.
Read moreI chose the vegetable panini with vegan cheese from the main menu with a oat milk chai latte.
Decently priced. Service was a little slow but didn't take away from the experience. Would recommend for anyone visiting Berwick.
Pros: A few good vegan options, 2 choices of vegan milk , Reasonable price
Cons: Service a little slow

Great lasagna - Edit
I came here with my husband and I had the mushroom lasagna. It was different to any other lasagna I've had before as it didn't have a tomato sauce but it was delicious. It's just of the high street and I have walked past it for years so you really have to know what your looking for.

homemade - Edit
I wasn't sure if I should.give 3 or 4, people were lovely and 4 of the 5 veggie dishes could be made vegan. Without asking they told me they had vegan cheese.
Read moreWhat I liked was the food was home made, from scratch. I had the spicy lentil burger, which was a Portobello mushroom with a put lentil.pattie. it included a side salad and chips. Although home.made it was heavy and a could have benefitted from a wee bit more seasoning.
the staff were lovely and were very aware of happy cow. The portions very very generous and I left feeling like I needed a wee sleep.
Pros: staff, vegan aware
Cons: meat

Good selection - Edit
A lovely selection of vegan meals. I was confused at first by the menu being listed vegetarian and vegan but the very helpful waitress made me aware that all meals apart from one could be made vegan. I had the summer veg pie with chips and it was very good. Really big portion! My partner had the veg curry. I was further impressed when offered dairy and egg free condiments! Alas, I was too full to sample the vegan cake of the day. I'll just have to visit again.

Very vegan friendly - Edit
Stopped off for lunch at this courtyard cafe and couldn't have felt better catered for. Once it was found that we were vegan the owner came over immediately to talk us through the options and made suggestions. Fabulous food, extremely helpful staff...we will be eating here again.

Great lunch spot in Berwick - Edit
We stopped here for lunch when travelling to England for the weekend and were very impressed. We'd picked Sinners because we'd read that they had plenty of vegan/vegetarian options but our expectations were surpassed. There's an extensive menu for a café (more than 4 vegan mains now) and the dishes seemed to be homemade. The food set us up nicely for the rest of our journey.

For Everything I long to do, it's a....... - Edit
Set in a courtyard at the top of the main shopping street in Berwick this is a very spacious retro cafe with a separate vegetarian and vegan menu. All main courses are priced at £6. That's most decent in my opinion. Choose from a pulsating (I can see a little intended pun here) aduki bean pie, mushroom stroganoff, vegetable curry, spicy bean chilli or Cajun veggie burger. They come served with rice, chips and salad. Most things in Scotland (although Berwick is not technically in Scotland) come served with chips! I do like chips so this is good for me. For any USA readers, chips are actually chipped fried potatoes over here. The coffee here is excellent and you are made to feel very welcome. For a warm, filling and hearty meat free meal on a cold winter's day, this is the place to go.

Friendly cafe with great attention to diets - Edit
I was very happy to find this cafe in Berwick which had a separate menu within their main menu dedicated specifically to Vegetarian and Vegan items. Options included veg curry and chips, or bean pie and chips. The 'pie' wasn't quite was I was expecting as there was no pastry, but it was still delicious and tasted fresh. Also serve vegan cakes, including 'Lazy Day' cakes. Waiting staff provided great service in checking what was and wasn't vegan friendly. It's a typical cafe menu with chips, fry ups, sausages etc, and a great place to eat when out with meat eating friends/family. Only small con would be I'd have liked hand cut chips rather than (I assumed) frozen, but otherwise A+ for effort.
