On vacation I rate differently then I would at home. This is because of how many vegan places are around, the quality and how many options there are in the restaurant.

Always a Good Meal - Edit
With thr number of vegan choices, there are seemingly infinite combinations. I've never had a bad meal here, although, I do prefer to order take out as the restaurant is small. I also really like that they pay workers a living wage and donate profits to charity.

We had lunch at Silantra today and it was fantastic! I got a bing burrito/wrap with grilled tofu and my partner had the mushrooms. Both were delicious! The tofu was flavourful and cooked so well!! The restaurant itself seemed like it was in the process of being updated maybe? They had menu boards on thw floor behind them but they mentioned that those were old and outdated. They had tv screens that I think will one day have the menu options on them but right now they are blank.

Silantra is fantastic when I need good vegan food for lunch or dinner in a pinch. Their scallion pancake wraps are delicious, and the bowls are just as good.
Read moreTheir filling options for vegans are mushrooms or tofu, and they're both seasoned to perfection. Many times when I visit a restaurant, I'm disappointed by the lack of flavor in the mushroom or tofu option, but this is definitely an exception.
The available veggies complement the tofu and mushrooms nicely, and they have a wide variety of sauces to finish off what is sure to be a wonderful meal.

Cons: Parking can be tough, Wraps sometimes fall apart
