Great find in the beach town

They have so much more than juice. Don’t let the fact that they’re a juice bar turn you off if you’re needing a meal. They have so many food offerings I was blown away. We honestly sampled one of everything except juice and we were very happy. So much flavor and a cool log cabin vibe. Highly recommend.

Ahhh-mazing!

Stopped by for a quick bite and enjoyed the Crunchwrap. While I was waiting for it I got to try the strawberry dream smoothie and it was phenomenal. Would definitely come here again.

Creative specials but a bit pricey

So grateful to have a fully vegan option on the beach that serves a variety of healthy options! The juices and smoothies are pretty pricey for the size but the few flavors I tried have been good. I like they they have a variety of different specials and they are very creative with what they offer. I just wish the prices were a bit better but good for an occasional splurge treat. They also have some specialty vegan cheeses and items available for purchase in a cooler.

Shine On Juicery Shines Bright on the Outer Banks

This is by far the dankest smoothie and vegan food spot I have ever been to in my life. (And I consider myself an enthusiast of the genre.) Everything is made to order with love and organic ingredients by this really cool hippie chick. The sea star is my favorite smoothie with strawberry sea moss & passion fruit. And the Buddah bowl is so delicious its hard for me to try anything else...... but I am eventually gonna try the daily specials. Obviously you gotta try the cold pressed juices and cashew mylks. The Shine On and Nectar are my juice faves, and the strawberry cashew mylk is so chuggable I reckon you should just go ahead and get 2. Its my favorite place for a quick & healthy lunch on the Outer Banks centrally located in downtown Kill Devil Hills. Do yourself & your body a favor and go there.

Only Fully Vegan Place on OBX

Super cute juice bar/cafe serving fresh, healthy, real food. Completely vegan with many gf and raw options (it’s the only fully vegan place on the OBX!) Smoothies, salads, bowls, desserts, etc - everything is excellent! Also, it has a cute little shop area showcasing local artisans, and the staff is absolutely lovely! Highly recommend supporting this woman owned small business!!

Love This Spot

Cute venue, great service &great food/drink. Awesome juice combinations! My man and I each had the Apple Pineapple Mint [So Good!] and took Carrot Pineapple Orange Lemon Turmeric to go with some Avocado Toast. I had the Avocado + Tomato + Microgreens and he had the Avocado + Sauerkraut. Both were fresh and delicious. You may find the prices slightly more expensive than other options on Nags Head, but it is totally worth it. By far one of my favorite vegan options in Nags Head. Will definitely be back!

Pros: Cool vibe, Friendly staff, Excellent food

Overpriced, tourist trap

This place is located in a weird building with crystal shops, seemed chill enough though. It’s probably the only fully vegan place in the area, which is why I went. The smoothies are all $10 each, juices are more than that. The first thing I noticed was the employees were not even wearing masks, which seems weird when we’re still in a global pandemic, but that was the vibe in the whole obx so I ignored it. The girl working wasn’t the most hospitable, didn’t ask if we’ve been there before. Açaí bowls are $14 , juices are like $13 also. I got the green rainbow smoothie which had a few too many items in it, and something about the green taste made me think the greens were either dried or had gone bad. It had spirulina but I use that at home in my smoothies and have never tasted something so off. My friend got the golden glow, and while it was good, the service was so distant, nonchalant and inhuman. Something i can’t put my finger on. She didn’t ask how I liked the smoothie or anything. And I don’t think they would’ve cared either. Also they use paper straws which disintegrate in the cup; maybe try metal straws if you’re going to charge $10 a smoothie. A spot i compare it to is North End juice in richmond, va and the smoothies are about 8-9$ depending on what you get. Overall a really disappointing visit, I would not go back. There needs to be more competition for places like this in the area or just bring your own blender and smoothie stuff if you’re staying for a week down here.

Pros: shine on juice is good

Cons: bad service , unfriendly , not helpful
