Lots of choices to modify

While Shaw's Tavern isn't overtly vegan friendly, they do have a lot of vegetarian choices that you can modify. Their salads can be made without cheese and most of their dressings are dairy free. My favorite salad to get is "The Cuke" which is a Mediterranean style salad. Just ask for no cheese. They're very accommodating when it comes to modifying dishes to be vegan. They also have a Beyond burger if you're looking for something more substantial. Ask for no Shaw sauce, as it is Mayo based. They're happy to swap for a different sauce like BBQ/ketchup/mustard. They also have a veggie flatbread, which you can get with no cheese. It does come with a white sauce, but they have marinara that you can get. The pizzas are made to order, and I have had them make me a vegan pizza a few times. Overall, the service here is slow, but they're really welcoming to vegans and have a great outdoor patio!
