You can see that this place is really focused on giving you a nice experience. There is comfortable lounging and sitting, nice music, and beautiful presentation of the food. I actually anticipated the prices to be somewhat higher. But 100 baht for a Khao Soi and Pad Ki Mao was perfect. The food was very tasty, especially enjoyed the Khao Soi but we also really enjoyed Tikki Massala with vegan roti. A nice tip for dessert is to order a plain roti which you can decorate with some sugar, very tasty!

Some of the best food we’ve ever eaten! We were blown away by both dishes we tried - the Burmese tea salad and the large Shambhala bowl. The vegan brownies were also out if this world. Quality, delicious vegan food.

Delicious vegan food, great café and friendly staff. We ate at Shambala several times, nice to sit down, great refill/eco store is part of it. The staff are very friendly and the owner knows exactly what vegan is all about. The food is delicious, we often had the Shambala salad for lunch and the Khao Soi is highly recommended. Last but not least, the best vegan desserts on the island. Vegan brownie and chocolate fudge.

Shambhala is now 100% vegan-vegetarian. I absolutely love this place and its food! Salads, bowls, burgers... and their homemade sauce is incredible. The coffee is perfect too, the barista is great. All the team and the owner are lovely and the atmosphere is super relaxing. My mother is not a vegan/vegetarian but she wanted to go back there every day we were on the island. As a matter of fact, we even took away food on our last night there to eat the day next when we had to travel - we got addicted to the amazing flavours of Shambhala💗

Ohhh, we got so delicious homemade food here and highly recommend this peaceful relaxing place. Food is made with love! You can taste it! Good food for good mood!

The coffee is amazing. And you can buy it there as well.
I also recommend the vegan chocolate truffles!
There is also a shop integrated to the restaurant with lovely healthy products, jewelry, clothes, soaps and so on...
You can also refill you shampoo and shower gel or buy natural homemade shower gel and co.

Wonderful place! We ate at Shamabala almost every day and could experience the passion and creativity in preparing the food. The owner of the restaurant was very caring. She was easy to talk to. In addition, she tried to teach us about her cuisine and we also got food to try. Have fun!

Read moreThe food is fresh, delicious and creative. The owner is vegetarian for 30 years and knows exactly what vegan means. 90% of her menu is vegan-friendly.
Our favorites:
- Shambala bowl (with the best vegan chicken/ fried protein)
- Stir-fried pumpkin with tofu and basil (taste like scrambled eggs)
- Kao Soi (noodles with yellow curry)
For breakfast:
- Granola with fruits and homemade coconut kefir.
- Panini with cashew cheese and Shambala sauce.
And a bit of topic but: try her probiotic body wash. Totally blew my mind. Made by locals and gives you the smoothest skin.
