I love that they have Happy hour on shakes. I love that they offer plant based shakes. They have Plant based bacon, crispy chicken, popcorn chicken, cheese tease fries,mayo cheese and ranch. I appreciate them for making things easy for me when I'm in a rush.

Great Vegan Fast Food - Edit
Been to this place a couple of times and everything has been delicious! The impossible burger is just as expected except they actually have vegan mayo!! The popcorn chick’n is good but the buffalo chick’n is my fav. The fries are crinkle cut with fry seasoning. Plus, they have vegan ranch which is unheard of at non-vegan restaurants!!! Definitely a go-to quick meal for us.

I've been here a few times, charge extra for all additions to impossible burger cheese to its 1.35. I asked and its Daiya. The burger is smaller than other vegan restaurants. Good but not amazing. Fries are great though. Food isnt the highest quality it could be for the price. Vegan peanut butter and banana shake is the beeest. Only place on Bakersfield i can find a vegan shake.

Good but DON'T TRY TO GET VEGAN FOOD DELIVERED - Edit
I really liked this place until I didn't have a working car and tried to get their plant based food delivered. I tried once through door dash, once through grub hub and finally once through their own website and EVERY TIME I got regular meat food. I took a bite into the burger before realizing it was meat!! Made me want to barf! The other time I tried i ordered plant based chili teese fries and took a few bits before realizing it was MEAT! When I called to complain not only did the "manager" ollie laugh at me when I explained the situation he did not let me get a refund. It literally took me calling over and over again to finally have them give in and refund me. Not only did it make me sick but they laughed at me for being vegan.

Went for the first time yesterday, ordered an impossible burger with vegan cheese and avocado, with buffalo fries and an Oreo shake. The burger and shake were amazing! Very good, but very pricey. For two meals it was almost $40!! for two burgers, an order of regular fries, buffalo fries, a medium Pepsi, and a large Oreo shake. I only gave 3 stars because the buffalo fries were just their regular French fries drowned in buffalo sauce. Also they looked like they had been sitting for a while before receiving them. They were soggy by the time I got my food. I will not be ordering again, but I tried my boyfriends fries and they were delicious by themselves. Overall the food was great, I’d eat there again.

I love Shake N Buns! They have a separate vegan plant based menu which includes the impossible burger, Philly steak Teese sandwich, buffalo wing chicken sandwich, chili teese fries, buffalo fries, vegan milk shakes galore, and they can make a Vegan chicken bacon salad with vegan ranch. So many great options. The building is a drive through and I’m so happy the owner offers so many excellent vegan options.

I drive over an hour to get the impossible burger. It’s worth the drive! Hands down the best vegan burger I’ve ever had! They also have other vegan options as well. The chken sandwich was also delicious! Wish we had one closer to home!

My boyfriend and I were excited to find a vegan fast food set up! We decided to try the buffalo chicken sandwich and of course we love the impossible burger already!! Af Er we ate, I just HAD to order their new Nutter Butter Shake! They use vegan soft serve so it was delicious AND authentic! We will definitely be returning, I hope they add a vegan chicken burger version in the future, this might become my new favorite place!

Love that they recently added the vegan “impossible burger” to their menu. Don’t love that the burger is pricey ($10). Love that they burger comes with your choice of vegan cheese (cheddar or provolone), lettuce, tomato and vegan mayo. The burger is well seasoned, flavorful and filling.

Overall, it’s a good burger and I’m excited that Bakersfield now has a vegan burger option at a fast food restaurant.
